Conscience in a spiral curriculum design is one in
which key concepts are presented repeatedly
throughout the curriculum but with deepening layers of
complexity. The learner tries to spiral upwards learning
as the new knowledge is introduced as well as the new
process skills are developed.
KEY TERMS
1) Spiral progression- is an approach to expose the learners
into a wide variety of concepts/topics and disciplines, until they
mastered it by studying it over and over again but with different
deepening of complexity..

2) Basic Education Curriculum (BEC)- is a form of tool which


will stand as one point of learning areas adequate for the
development of competencies starting from Basic education up to
the second level of which is renounced as High School.
3) K-12 curriculum- can refer to the courses or subjects
taught in school from grades kindergarten through
twelve. As it is used in the field of education, K-12
curriculum usually refers to the specific learning
objectives and activities experienced by students in
grades kindergarten through twelve.
