1. Attends court hearings before various courts and Quasi-judicial bodies involving cases
filed by and against SBMA, its officers and employees
2. Conducts research and prepare/draft pleadings (complaint, answer, reply, petitions, etc.)
needed to be filed/submitted before the courts and Quasi-judicial bodies
3. Reviews and signs pleadings drafted/prepared by Legal Officers before finalization and
submission to appropriate courts and quasi-judicial bodies in any and all matters being
handled by the Department.
4. Prepares as well as review and sign various demand letters drafted by Legal Officers
against SBMA's (delinquent) locators/investors/housing lessees prior to filing of
appropriate legal actions.
5. Answers communications addressed to the SBMA Chairman and Administrator, Senior
Deputy Administrator for Support Services, Deputy Administrator for Legal Affairs, Legal
Department Manager and other SBMA officials.
6. Renders legal opinion as requested by concerned departments.
7. Prepares and signs memoranda, letters involving request from concerned departments
as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
8. Acts as Member/Prosecutor in the SBMA Special DAC.
