 Introduction:-

Mahila vikas charitable trust (MVCT) formed in March, 2007 and are playing imperative role in
the empowerment of women. It adopter multiple strategies to improve the condition of the
women. It gives training to the women in various aspects like mehendi, handicraft, etc. to make
them to come out of their inhibitions and to involve in fruitful activities. It renders help to society
for the improvement of quality of life of people from education to health, environment and
poverty alleviation. In welfare programmes. Career oriented actives, empowering women and
weaker sections, protecting the rights of marginalized segments, protecting the environment,
spreading literacy and education to name a few. The contribution of MVCT is impressive since
2007. It trains poor women and provide them opportunities of self-employment to improve their
social and economic status. It also cultivates the habit of thrift and credit among the poor women
to improve their quality of life. Overall empowerment of women is vitally dependent on
economic empowerment.

The organization working in the various developmental sectors like Education, Women
empowerment, Environment, Youth Development, Spiritual Activities, Rural development,
Community Awareness, Children education, health, child development, community
development, social research, capacity building programs since inspection. With the vision to do
community development from all the sphere of lives. In our country there are many social
problems like poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, child labor, women exploitation etc. so
Organization has focuses on the major social issues which exist in present scenario. So our
Organization has working on that issues and try to provide them continues support and guidance
to the community. Our trust has mainly focus on the overall development of the community. So
that different kind of the programs is initiated by our organization for providing the solution of
that kind f the problems. Our organization has initiated different kind of the community
development as well as rural development programs by getting support from government
organization. We feel proud to say that whenever our organization had organized such kind of
the developmental activities, we got best community support and we always become successful
in the area of the development.

 Objectives of the Organization: -

1. To promote employment oriented skill. Up gradation training to the adolescent girls and
women from the community.

2. To use these groups as a platform for generating awareness on social issues.

3. To certify and to liaison with the trained institutes in order to strengthen training placement
opportunities for the trained girls and women.

4. Educating and creating awareness among women especially the rural women.

5. Supplements efforts of government in women empowerment.

6. promotes the use of information and communication technology (ICT) for empowering
women.

7. Instills leadership qualities among women and ensures their participation in their
empowerment.

8. Represents the problems faced by rural women to the concerned authorities and carries out
impact assessment of the policy decisions affecting women.

9. Mobilizes optimum resources and plans and implements the projects that have bearing upon
women empowerment.

Project Methodology:-

1. Mobilization: reach out to the potential beneficiaries through mobilization and outreach
initiative encouraging women and girls enhance their skills by enrolling for stitching
embroidery course mehendi, and beauty parlour and computer course.
2. Training preference: three months training courses of stitching, beauty parlour and
computer for the beneficiaries as per their interest and feasibility.
3. Recognition: post successful completion of the course certificates disbursed to the
beneficiaries.
 Computer Training: -

Computer skills are an important requirement for many types of jobs. Now a day it is expected to
have excellent computer skills at least basic data entry or typing skills.

MVCT started different kinds of computer courses for youth. Women and adolescent girls which
help them to improve their livelihood. These training programmes are of 3 months to 1 year
courses which develops basic skills among people and empower
empower them. At this centre adolescents
and women from the communities are given technological and vocational training to make them
job ready.

The centre offer certificate courses in basic computer knowledge as well as diploma course in

 Beauty Parlour Training:-
Training

Women are worst affected when it come unemployment and poverty. Without any income of
their own they need to depend on men for anything and everything. If the men are also
unemployed, the matter gets worse.

MVCT has set up a training

Motive was to start this centre to take a step towards self grooming along with becoming

 Stitching training:-
Learning to sew teaches basic motor skills, coordination, and self confidence along with a sense
of starting and finishing something. Stitching garment is one job that remains till end of the
mankind. Further, basic tailoring skills enable women to work from home they can continue in
their traditional role as homemaker and yet earn tailoring is something which can immediately
start right from their home upon completion of their course.
MVCT started basic stitching course which includes learning to stitch a single garment like saree
blouse salwar kameez skirt & top etc. In this course the student learns about measurements of a
specific garment and the way to measure a person for the same. Interested women are also
trained for embroidery, arts and designing skills as well as tailoring the course duration is 3
months for basic cutting & sewing next the participants can progress to the next level which is
training in detailed art & creativity.
Motive was to start this course to provide a platform to come out from their inhibitions and start
their work from home.
GMDC is painstakingly culture of building good relations with the community among which it
operates be it through acquisition of mining land form private holders through open negotiations
resettlement of project affected persons or the nurture of fragile environment in which it
undertakes mining or provision of needful assistance to its neighbors. As a corporate philosophy
GMDC has been responding to the various societal needs of remote rural areas from where
mineral wealth is generated and has been lending a helping hand. Be it environmental need,
developmental need, in the form of employment generation, education, health care, water,
sanitation, women empowerment or critical need at the time of natural disasters GMDC has
chosen to respond responsibly. GMDC has never ever undermined its social obligations towards
the society of which it is indeed an integral part.

GMDC panandhro is associated with MVCT to fulfill their commitment towards their corporate
social responsibility. GMDC has instigated livelihood enhancement project distribution of 10
stitching machines for women empowerment in lakhpat Taluka by Mr. Rajkumar das. These
equipments provide solution to better skill development of trainees.
 Child Development :

Children in almost all the developing and weaker societies remain in privilege group. They are

not being taken care of to make their childhood happy. They instead going to school are forced to

go for the work. They many times become the victim of abuse. They are not in a position to

enjoy Child Rights given to them. Mal nutrition is also an issue among them. Mahila Vikas

charitable Trust works for Children on all these issues to have happy nation.
 Health:

Developed and healthy nation is the vision of Mahila Vikas charitable Trust. Health of people

will contribute a lot in the development process. A lot of efforts are still required for the better

health of people especially for children, women and elderly people. By arranging different

programs and providing different services Mahila Vikas charitable Trust strives for better health

of people.

 Youth Empowerment:

Youth are the golden part of society. If their energy is being utilized and diverted in the right

way nation can have best output. They are the agent of development process: Many a times they

are facing problems regarding their career, education and developmental aspects. By offering

them various kinds of educational and training programs Mahila Vikas charitable Trust helps
them to empower themselves.

 Women Empowerment:

Women even in 21st century are not having equal opportunities in all spheres of life as compare

to men. They are facing various socio-economical and political struggles. If we neglect all the

issues concerning to women and put them outside form the development process we can never

thought of developed nation instead they should be targeted in the process. Mahila Vikas

charitable Trust tries to organize the women for their development and provides them
opportunity for their empowerment.

 Rural Development:

Large number of population of India still remains in Rural area where they are facing number of

problems related to their development. If we develop the Rural are of country in all the aspects

including economical, social. Political, educational, the same will make nation development as a

whole. Rural poor need income generating opportunities, credit facilities, infrastructure

development, and social development opportunities for their overall development. Mahila Vikas

charitable Trust continuously support Rural people for making their life better.
 Tribal Development:

Tribal people since decades remain as a marginalized community as a part of society. They have

become the victims of development process and are forced to leave their original culture. They

are facing cross cultural issues. Mahila Vikas charitable Trust works for their development in all

the concerning issues related to their social, political, economical and cultural life.

Food Distribution Program:-

If we see the Maslow’s theory of need, food, cloth and shelter are the basic need of the human
being. In our country there are many problems like poverty, illiteracy, terrorism, corruption and
so on. Poverty leads illiteracy due to the expensive education. Poor people cannot afford the
education expenses. And so that they cannot grip the income generation opportunities. And other
side the price of the grains, vegetables, oil, and other things are increasing day by day. So poor
people cannot afford that much quantity of food so that they can fulfill their needs. So our trust
had arranged food distribution program in Kutch Ready to eat food, grains were distributed
among the poor people. 137 family can get the benefit of this program.
 Handicraft Training:-

Women are worst affected when it come unemployment and poverty. Without any income of
their own they need to depend on men for anything and everything. So for the women’s
development MVCT (Mahila Vikas Charitable Trust started handicraft training under Nabard.

 Women Empowerment::-

Women are main part of society and our nation. Women should be empowered for the

development of women and for the development of the country. If women are aware and

empower than country will aware and empower. For this purpose Department of Women and

Child Development organized workshop on women's schemes and legal awareness at Pandhro

on 06/02/2020. In this workshop information provided about legally aids and women’
women’s right and

women laws.

In this workshop, as a Guest of Honor were present Shri Vikrasinh Sodha(Vice President of

Lakhpat Taluka), Shri Jalpaben Rawal(Dowry Prohibition Officer), Shri Kishore Singh(PSI of

Narayan Sarovar), Shri Bhagwatiben Solanki(Sarpanch of Pandhro Village), Shri Ramila Ben
Solanki(Sarpanch

 Tree Planation:-

Degradation in environment again is a burning issue at global level. Global Warming, Acid rain,
ozone depletion are few of them. Trees can save the earth from all the issues. Trees will help us
to save the environment which will help us for safe future. If we do not take care of environment,
we have to suffer in future as well. Tree plantation is one of the effort through which we can try
to save the environment. Keeping
Keeping in mind all these objects, organization has arranged tree
plantation program.
 Handicraft Exhibition & Sale

With aim to empower women and to sale their product we at Mahila Vikas Charitable Trust
Organised Handicraft Exhibition & Sale at MVCT Head Office, Panandhro Dist: Kutch. Where
in 150+ People visited & 100+ Women Artisan participated to sale their production. In this
program 35,000/- sale has been done by the women artisan. DDM, NABARD, Lead Bank

Manager, Sarpanchshri were present to boost the morale of women.

stitching machines for women empowerment in lakhpat Taluka by Mr. Rajkumar das. These
equipments provide solution to better skill development of trainees.
 Handicraft Training:-

Women are worst affected when it come unemployment and poverty. Without any income of
their own they need to depend on men for anything and everything. So for the women’s
development MVCT (Mahila Vikas Charitable Trust started handicraft training under Nabard
Nabard.
MVCT given 60 women for handicraft training.
 Women Empowerment::-

Women are main part of society and our nation. Women should be empowered for the

development of women and for the development of the country. If women are aware and

empower than country will aware and empower. For this purpose Department of Women and

Childd Development organized workshop on women's schemes and legal awareness at Pandhro

on 06/02/2020. In this workshop information provided about legally aids and women’s right and

women laws.

In this workshop, as a Guest of Honor were present Shri Vikrasinh Sodha(Vice President of

Lakhpat Taluka), Shri Jalpaben Rawal(Dowry Prohibition Officer), Shri Kishore Singh(PSI of

Narayan Sarovar), Shri Bhagwatiben Solanki(Sarpanch of Pandhro Village), Shri Ramila Ben

Patel(President of MVCT).
 Tree Planation:-

Degradation in environment again is a burning issue at global level. Global Warming, Acid rain,
ozone depletion are few of them. Trees can save the earth from all the issues. Trees will help us
to save the environment which will help us for safe future. If we do not take care of environment,
we have to suffer in future as well. Tree plantation is one of the effort through which we can try
to save the environment. Keeping in mind all these objects, organization has arranged tree
plantation program.
 Craft Awareness Program:

Mahila Vikas Charitabel Trust Organized “Craft Awareness Program” at Gram Panchayat
(Coomunity Hall) at Panandhro dated 23rd & 24th July, 2019 to enhance the skill of women.
There were 110 women participated in this program. Assistant Director, Handicraft, DDM,
NABARD, Manager, Bank of Baroda, Director, RSETI & Sarpanchri Present to bless the event.
 Rural Mart Program by NABARD:

Mahila Vikas Charitabel Trust has set up Hinglaj Rural Mart by taking the support of NABARD.
This rural mart located at Ektanagar, Panandhro Dist: Kutch. Approximate daily sale is Rs. 2500
to 3000. Through rural mart there 80 women getting employment through this activities. This
rural mart has been inaugurated by Manager, Dena Bank, DDM, NABARD & Sarpanchsri.
