TECHNICAL DATA SHEET FOR FRP DAMPERS
Sunrise Industries (India) Ltd. Offers corrosion-resistant FRP
Damper. SIIL isolation dampers utilizing only high corrosion
resistant parts for air movement and controls. SIIL dampers are
fire retardant, corrosion resistant, and UV protected.

The blade shafts are constructed of custom-made, solid 316SS.

SIIL damper utilizes a specially formulated elastomer with
corrosion resistance equal to and/or superior to EPDM, Hypalon,
and even Viton.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION

Material of Construction — Vinyl ester resins with / without

fire retardent as per ASME-84 Class 1.
SIIL damper blade is operated using a hand-wheel driven worm Fire Retardent — With / Without
gear operator. Pneumatic, electric, or chain-wheel type Manufacturing Standard — ASME RTP-1/ ASTM
operators are optional. Long life Teflon bearings and extensively Temperature — 150 Degree C (Max.)

may reduce safety risks caused by contaminant air leaks. Size — 4” - 120” Diameter
SIIL isolation dampers require far less maintenance, are more
durable, and outperform conventional butterfly dampers.

SIIL dampers range in sizes from 4-inch diameter to 120-inch

diameter.
