1.

CAPEX Budget Update


a. 10 sites out of 31 sites have been refurbished with a completion of 32% done.
b. 1st batch of Data Center UPS equipment (240 batteries) have arrived in the Country.
c. 11 Smart Generators Under manufacturing delivery expected 31 st October 2020
d. MPBN manufacturing on going and delivery expected 15th November 2020.

2. NPS Update
 
a. Liberia - MTN 45.0% Orange 47.0%.  Plans have been put in place to optimize the
network in the areas where NPS is low and improvement is expected in the month of
September.

3. Traffic Profile/Capacity update


a. Liberia – Data traffic growth increase from 205.37TB to 215.89TB. (+4.87% growth). There
is an increase in Voice traffic as compare to the previous week from 1130 Kerl to 1184Kerl
with a percentage of +4.56% growth.
b. MTN and Orange Interconnect Capacity upgrade by 2 STM1 to reduce congestion current
utilization of about 68%
c. EVORNC02 and EVORNC03 hardware and capacity expansion upgrade there by increasing
the RNC core Capacity
d. Successful Migration of Y’elloConnect Messaging Hub for A2P messages.
e. EBU PowerNet Capacity upgraded from 10Mbps to 16Mbps.
f. 1 new rural site added, amounting to a total of 164 sites.

 Liberia International Capacity - International link upgrade has been successfully completed
Ghana to UK and Abidjan to Portugal have all been upgraded to 5Gb capacity each. Total
combined Capacity is now 10Gb  
4. Network Availability Improvement Drive
                                                                     
i. Liberia - Weekly Network Availability on all technologies are above the target for week
38 under review with 2G = 98.20%, 3G = 97.65% and 4G =99.23% with a percentage
growth of 0.71%, 0.15% and 1.74% respectively.
ii. 45% of the 3 Months Fuel Supply in Monrovia Phase 3 (August to October) has so far
been done and 90% of the 8 months fuel have been delivered.
