Chronological time of the film: Twilight (in English: Twilight) is the first installment of
the series of the same name. It tells the story of Bella from the moment she
decides to move to the small town of Forks in Washington state. There she meets
the mysterious Edward Cullen, adoptive son of Dr. Carlisle Cullen and Esme
Cullen, members of a vampire family. Attracted by his beauty and mysterious
attitude, Bella falls hopelessly in love with Edward and feels an uncontrollable need
to be with him.

The consequences of this love mark a total change in Bella's life. Discover the
world of vampires that until then was unknown. When confronted with a group of
three vampires (Victoria, Laurent and James) who do not share respect for human
life, Bella puts her life and that of her father in danger. In the end there is a group
confrontation with Edward's family trying to defend Bella.
The play ends with Edward and Bella at the end of year dance where they discuss
the young woman's immortality.

Plot
Beginning: On her first day of school, Bella sees five students who stand out for
their beauty and paleness. They feel alienated from everyone, they have little
relationship with other students. Son the Cullen brothers; Edward, Emmett, Jasper,
Alice and Rosalie. They are not actually biological siblings, but were all adopted by
Dr. Carlisle Cullen and his wife, Esme Cullen.
Among them, Edward is the one who quickly captures Bella's attention. Her
attention is increasing, until she reaches her maximum point when she discovers
that Edward has great strength and speed, when Bella is about to die crushed by a
car, driven by Tyler, Edward saves her life by appearing next to her with
supernatural speed and stopping the car with his hand, being that Edward was in
his car several meters away. This incident bears Edward's suspicion, as you
cannot believe that someone "human" may be able to do something like that.

Knot: Finally, putting together all your clues: supernatural strength, speed, the fact
that they were not exposed to the sun. Bella concludes that Edward is a vampire.
A difficult romance arises between them since Edward is a danger to Bella, but he
does not want to move away from her and she does not want to move away from
him, since her love is stronger than Edward's desire to quench her thirst and bite
her to drinking his blood, which to him was far more appealing than anything else
in the world.
Edward invites Bella to meet her family, and also to see how they play baseball,
playing that they especially enjoy when there is a storm, but while they play three
vampires: James, Laurent and Victoria. James is a tracker, hunting is his
obsession and he decides to go hunting for Bella, despite the defense put in by
Carlisle and Edward.
Edward tries to protect her by hiding her and his entire family tries to scare the
hunter away. Bella returns to Phoenix fleeing and making her father believe that he
does not want to spend the rest of his life in a town like Forks.

End: Bella escapes from those who protect her, risking her life for her mother and
finds that everything has been a hoax. She is alone with James and he intends to
kill her. He starts hitting her and comes to bite her on the wrist. There comes a
point when he becomes unconscious and dreams that there is an angel around
him, when in fact it is Edward, who has arrived on the scene with his family. Dr.
Cullen begins to heal Bella and Edward is forced to remove the poison from his
body so that he does not become a vampire.
Bella wakes up days later in a hospital, accompanied by her mother and Edward.
The latter tells her that they can stay away from each other because it is
dangerous for her, but neither can be without the other.
At the end of the book, Edward takes Bella to the end of the year dance and there
they discuss the immortality of the young woman.

What did you learn about the film ?: Among psychologists, teachers and other
specialists, there is growing concern about the influence that the Twilight saga (and
other products that have been developed from the fashion that this novel started)
can have on adolescents and their perception of life and relationships.

How did the movie make you feel ?: Happy and in love

How does the film relate to the academic program you are studying? : Sometimes
you have to live on fantasies to achieve what you want
