SCHOOL GUIDELINES ON THE DISTRIBUTION AND RETRIEVAL OF
SLMs The integration of SLMs with the alternative learning delivery modalities will help us ensure that all learners have access to quality basic education for SY 2020- 2021 with face to face classes still prohibited due to the public health situation. But this also assured that the safety and health of teachers and personnel will be its top priority. Teachers and school personnel who will be involved in the distribution and retrieval of these printed materials are required to strictly follow the guidelines enumerated below; 1. School personnel shall prepare a personalized box indicating the learner’s name , grade and section, address, contact number (if any) for every learner with the SLMs which are placed inside an envelope. 2. The personalized box shall be claimed and returned in each room of the teachers by the parents or guardian on a staggered basis following health protocols such as wearing of facemask, signing of logbook , thermal scanning and with footbath and alcohol dispenser in each door . 3. Teachers will also be wearing facemask or face shield in her/his room or wearing of PPE as much as possible while monitoring the distribution and retrieval of SLMs . 4. Parents or guardians of each learner will have an entry pass in the school gate to ensure their accurate time schedule in the distribution and retrieval of SLMs. 5. Provide one entrance and one exit gate. 6. Disinfection will be done at the end of the day of distribution and retrieval 7. Before the distribution, procure UV light for the modules to be distributed and retrieved. 8. Post a tarpaulin stating the safety protocols and a flowchart where to claim the SLMs at the covered court. 9. Teachers who are at risks will not be allowed to go to school for distribution and retrieval. They will just be given other tasks that can do at home. 10. Announce the schedules of distribution and retrieval to parents through calls, messages or during parents’ orientation
