ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
ONE DAY
(Verse 1) A
Sometimes I lay under the moon They'll be no more wars
And I thank god I’m breathing And our children will play
And I pray don’t take me soon One day (one day), One day (one day)
Cause I’m here for a reason One day (one day), One day (one day)
Sometimes in my tears I drown One day (one day), One day (one day)
But I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds (Bridge) C
I know some day it'll all turn around
One day this all will change
Because
Treat people the same
(Chorus) B Stop with the violence
Down with the hate
All my life I've been waiting for One day we'll all be free
I've been praying for And proud to be
For the people to say Under the same sun
That we don't wanna fight no more Singing songs of freedom like
They'll be no more wars
And our children will play (Verse 3) A
One day (one day), One day (one day)
Gotta hold on
One day (one day), One day (one day)
Livin life day by day
One day (one day), One day (one day)
Gotta hold on
(Verse 2) A Put your focus on that one day

It's not about win or lose (Chorus) B

We all lose when they feed on the souls of the
All my life I've been waiting for
innocent
I've been praying for
Blood drenched pavement
For the people to say
Keep on moving though the waters stay
That we don't wanna fight no more
raging
They'll be no more wars
In this maze you can lose your way (your way)
And our children will play
It might drive you crazy
One day (one day), One day (one day)
But don't let it faze you no way (no way)
One day (one day), One day (one day)
(Chorus) B One day (one day), One day (one day)

All my life I've been waiting for

I've been praying for
For the people to say
That we don't wanna fight no more

WHAT’S MORE
While looking while listening at the picture of Monet and Debussy, I felt happy, satisfied,
emotional, amaze, and relax because the picture or painting is a scene of a sunrise which I love
and while looking in majestic painting, I’m listening to an amazing masterpiece of Claude
Debussy.

ACTIVITY 1.2 CONCEPT MAP

Music and Impressionism
Impressionism Music is a musical style that
produces new indirect musical colors that lightly
overlapped in different chords with each other
and it works on nature sounds. It normally gives the
feeling of finality to a piece, moods and textures,
harmonic vagueness about the structure of certain
chords, and the use of a whole-tone scale.
Impressionism

Arts and impressionism

The first modern style to emerge was impressionism
developed by French composer Claude Debussy as a
rejection of excessive Wagnerian German Romanticism.
It was Modeled after the impressionistic art movement.
Impressionism is an artistic movement that has
brought about a change in the creation and perception
of art and music.
.

Music and expressionism

Expressionism presents atonality and the twelve-tone
scale revealing composer’s mind, expressing strong
emotions, anxiety, rage, and alienation. It expresses
the meaning of emotional experience
rather than physical reality.

Expressionism

Arts and expressionism

Austrian- German composes developed expressionism
around the turn of the 1900s, as a blatant expansion of
Wagnerian Romanticism. The term expressionism was
originally borrowed from visual art and literature.
Artists created vivid pictures, distorting colors, and
shapes to make unrealistic images that suggested
strong emotions.
ACTIVITY 1.3: LOOK AT ME!

I was born full of happiness and smiles and there seems to be no sorrow. I
live for years with joy and laughs with my family, my mom, my dad, and I. The
problems and sadness seems missing in those years until I stepped to my eighth
year in the world. The whole country was shocked by the explosions of cannons
and guns. It shocked many and it looks like they’re targeting our town. I and my
family run even if we do not know where to go. We just wanted to stay away from
fighting soldiers. We reached mountains, rivers, and we reached a forest. In the
forest, we can see no soldiers at all and we started to hide. After a few minutes,
my parents went outside of the cave where we’re hiding. After that, I was
shocked. My parents fell down and I hear soldier saying “Dispatch, two civilians
were down here.” I cried silently, I was all alone in the world. The family that gave
me fun will never be with me again.
