Before gowning, all jewelry and make-up should be removed. Note: These are gowning procedure examples.
Tacky Mats and Shoe Cleaner may also be used. Each customer and facility may have a different
gowning procedure. Ask questions to determine the
gowning procedure at each facility.
Suggested Nonsterile Cleanroom Gowning Procedure
Step 1: Pre-Entry Step 2: Gowning
A. Bouffant/Hair Net A. Gowning Gloves
B. Mask C. Hood
Be sure to contain all hair. Recommended for
Class 100 and better. Worn under hood. Ensure snug fit
B. Shoe Covers and proper
face/neck seal.
Contain all laces
and tassels.
