On behalf of our team, United For Change I’d like to welcome
you today. For those of you who do not already know me and my teammates, my name is Idris Ibrahimov, my teammates Elvin Valiyev, Narmina Babayeva, Hamida Askerova and Farida Aghayeva. Now let’s get started. First of all, I want to talk about why we need or why we want implement this project. Education is essential to every student’s life as well as his or her future. The main purpose of education is to help students gain the knowledge and skills so that they will be able to function in society. 20-25 years ago in Azerbaijan, people have just counting choices to study in universities or somewhere else. But now, we are living in 21st century. This century is highly connected with technology advancement, high mobility and globalization and these factors have a great impact in current education system. We have lots of institutions that give great and high quality education. Middle school students are very lucky that they have various options to choose for studying after they graduating the school. From one side it can be seen advantageous, on the other hand having so many choices can be stressful and confusing to make the right decision. For instance, before I entered ADA uni I did not know what is the difference between marketing and management or I knew some people who did not know the distinction between computer science and computer engineering. In addition, some students are forced to select their university faculty by the advices of their parents or relatives which is not their wish or dream. If a person has no sense of purpose or direction, he/she could waste precious time in low-paying, dead-end jobs or end up not enrolling to the universities at all. Therefore, we as university students felt responsibility and necessity to help children by implementing this social responsibility project . We see an extinct need or emergency for the project, as children now are our future. In other words as our motto states we help the world to grow generation it needs.
