Engine Speed/Timing Sensor

SMCS - 1912-010

Remove & Install Engine Speed/Timing Sensor

1. Disconnect engine speed/timing sensor connector (1).

2. Remove strap (2).

3. Remove engine speed/timing sensor (3). Upon installation, extend the end of the engine
speed/timing sensor and tighten engine speed/timing sensor (3) to a torque of 40 ± 5 N·m
(29 ± 4 lb ft).

NOTE: For installation of the engine speed/timing sensor, reverse the removal steps.
