Unit 1. Giving Advice. Recognition Forum.

INTRODUCTION.

UNAD, faithful to its mission as a leading organization in open and distance education,

plays an essential role in the advances related to the theme of globalization. Therefore, its

internationalization policy seeks to guide the steps of the national and international community

towards bilingual scenarios. In accordance with the above, this B1 English course is a theoretical

and practical course independent study and tutorial accompaniment, which seeks to recognize and

appropriate the basic contents of English as a foreign language for oral and written

comprehension.

The English B1 course develops the student's communicative skills in the English

language so they can understand and use standard language in familiar subjects such as work,

study, leisure activities, etc. You can also obtain and provide information to others on

environmental issues, using idiomatic expressions.

In this activity the terminology and grammatical structure of the concepts of both the

classroom and the basic guidelines of the B1 English course are defined for the application of

these in the development of different activities during the academic period.
