- Lasam filed an application for registration of 152 parcels of land with a total area of
24,723,436 sqm
- Situated in Solana, Cagayan
- That 152 parcel of land include the parcel no. 9 there involved

Lower court

- Said portions of Parcel of were delimited and marked

Director of lands

- Opposed the application

- Ground:
a) not supported by any title fit for registration
b) That that the land sought to be registered is public land

- Narag, first cousin of Lasam, also filed opposition on the ground that they are the
owner of parcel no. 9

- After protected hearing, lower court declared the applicant Lasam the owner of the
parcel of land, and decreed the registration in his favor
