Module 1 of the Learning Delivery Module Course 2 (LDM2) is the orientation of teachers.

In this
module, we are provided with the basics on how to deliver learning to our learners.
The aim of this module is to prepare teachers mentally and psychologically to endure the future battles
of being a mentor to our learners.
This LDM2 for me is a double-edged knife which can be beneficial and harmful at the same time. It is
beneficial because we can really understand the real situation, foresee the upcoming difficulties ahead
and learn to cope with the situation.
Harmful because we should be preparing for the opening of classes. We should be printing modules now
instead of spending time and effort in this module which we can do any time and any day after the
opening of classes.
Besides, the central office is tasking us to print the modules when they are the ones who should be
printing them,

Module 2 of LDM 2 orients us on the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC). It is here where we
can compare the MELC from the previous Curriculum Guide. We can see the similarities and differences
of the MELC and CG.
We can also observe that some competencies from the latter are deleted, some are retained and some
are combined into one to produce the MELC.
We are also given the task to unpack the competencies in the MELC where we split the general
competencies into various sub-competencies or smaller objectives which we can teach to learners
gradually. This can be quite beneficial because we are to feed learners with smaller information without
them realizing that they have learned the greater objective.
