Allergen Labeling

Red River Foods (RRF) is reaching out to all suppliers to support our commitment to quality and food
safety. Starting immediately RRF will require an allergen statement / label on each carton produced for
RRF. This regulation is following 21 CFR 117.135 (C)(2)(i) and the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer
Protection Act (FALCPA). All top 8 allergens must be labeled on container if container contains an
allergen: Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans. Furthermore,
if the allergen is in this group the specific product must be listed. (ex. Allergen Tree Nuts: Cashews)
