TROUBLESHOOTING

ISOLATE WORKSTATION TO SERVER CONNECTION


PING COMMAND

http://southkorea/ApertaAiDPS/Launchpad/Launcher.aspx

southkorea = servername
Type ping servername -t

server url = http://southkorea/ApertaAiDPS/Launchpad/Launcher.aspx

C:\Windows\system32>ping southkorea
C:\Windows\system32>ping southkorea –t

Check for Request time out if exist means network problem. Not our fuckin problem let them call bank

TRACERT COMMAND

1. tracert command to check router problem. 1st ping to get server ip. Then type tracert command
syntax tracert ip address. Ex C:\\tracert 192.168.1.1 for ip. Ex C:\\tracert
fe80::79b6:a6ec:77b6:e81f%11 for MAC address
ISOLATE MACHINE USING EXERCISER or MINI EXERCISER

To check if scanner hardware is problematic or it’s driver

1. Stop aperta capture service first. Go to run (CTRL+R button) – type services.msc
2. Stop Aperta capture device service then proceed to exerciser or mini exerciser test for scanner
hardware isolation as well as to test also the installed scanner driver.
