(PEPPER, MY FELINE FRIEND)

He was as little as a toothpick,

And as light as a less of a pound,
Seeing her mom giving him a lick,
Saying "you'll be safe and sound".

As days and weeks go by,

Hearing the little kitten's cry,
Made her mom stay by his side,
Care and protection the mother supplied.

Oh, my sweet and loving Pepper,

You’re the one I will always remember,
I’m here for you and you’re here for me,
Love of a girl to his feline buddy.

Don’t you say goodbye,

That’ll make me cry,
I love you always,
Through the nights and days.
