Chapter – 2 : How the Little Kite learned to fly

I.) Word Meaning :-
1. nodded – lower and raise one’s head slightly and briefly,
especially in greeting or to give someone a signal.

II.) Answer these :-
1. What could the little kite not do?
Ans – The little kite could not fly in the sky like the other
kites.
2. What was the big kite’s advice to her?
Ans - The big kite advanced her to keep trying and trying or
she would never learn to fly at all.
3. Why did the little kite react to this?
Ans – The little kite felt scared and frightened on seeing the
big kite fly. She trembled and shook but wanted to give
herself a trail.
4. Why did the big kite fly away?
Ans – The big kite flew away because the sky was clear and it
wanted to fly and enjoy.
5. What did the little kite see as it flew?
Ans – As the little kite flew, she saw far below on the ground
boys like small spots moving round.
6. What is the message of the poem?
Ans – The message of the poem is that if we try to do
anything with determination we can do it. The little kite was
scared in the beginning but when it tried with bravery, it
could also fly like the other kites.

Ans – The little kite is the speaker of this line.

Ans – It could not fly like the other kites could.

Ans – It was apprehensive that if it would try to fly, it would
