Make your own Trade Set

First, you need to make sure you have the Harbor improvement. If you don’t have that, you won’t be
able to make an effective set. Once that’s done, follow these instructions. Experienced members of your
alliance can always help you pick out the best set if you get stuck. For this tutorial, I’m going to proceed
with the resources Coal and Cattle.

Step 1; Go here: http://www.cybernations.net/stats_resource_tool.asp

You can also get to it by going World Statistics, Tools & Links and then clicking on Resource Calculator
Tool

Step 2; Start with the resources you have, and then start picking out good resources (I recommend
starting with the Bonus Resource of Radiation Cleanup and Microchips – always good starting points, but
don’t be afraid to play around with different combinations

Sample Set:
Resources: Aluminum, Gems, Gold, Iron, Lead, Lumber, Marble, Oil, Rubber, Silver
BR's: Asphalt, Automobiles, Construction, Fine Jewelry, Microchips, Radiation Cleanup, Steel, and the
capability for Scholars
Step 3; Once you have all the resources you’re looking for (here we’re using the sample set); Go here:
http://www.cybernations.net/search_advanced_trades.asp
You can also get to it by going World Statistics, Tools & Links and then clicking on Advanced Trade
Finder

Check all of the resources you want (not what you have)

Search Criteria: Require Two

And as of the time of writing this: Black has the most nations, so it’s the best bet for finding available
resources. NOTE: you need to be on the color you’re going with BEFORE offering a trade, so if Black is
your choice, make sure to change your nation to Black sphere (if you need help, ask your alliance)

Find a nation that has two of the resources you want, and that has an open slot. Open their nation

In this particular case, that nation already has one of the resources that you have, so they aren’t a
candidate, click the back button and try again.
Step 4; When you find a nation that doesn’t have what you have (in this example, Cattle & Coal), send
them a trade offer.

Don’t make it secret, since doing so hurts the bonus you both get from trading in color.

Now go back to Step 3 and proceed with all the resources EXCEPT for the two you just offered a trade
for. Keep this up until all of the resources you want, you’ve offered trades for.

If someone rejects your offer,

Just use Step 3 for the resources that THEY had, that way you’re not repeating resources, and just
replacing the ones you missed.

When all is said and done, you’ll have an excellent set without requiring excessive help from your
alliance, or needing to waste extra time waiting for someone to make you a circle.
