2) The Service Book must accompany the machine throughout operation and must be
kept carefully in order to avoid possible damage.
3) The sheets of the "Free Service Coupon" and "Annual Service Coupon" must be
compiled correctly, completely and legibly. They must be signed by the workshop
technician and countersigned, as confirmation of the service and any repairs
performed, by the customer who owns the machine.
4) The sheets of the "Free Service Form" and "Annual Service Forms" must be compiled
in triplicate, with a signature on the original, of which:
- the original must remain with the customer who owns the machine and inserted in the
Service Book;
- one copy must be filed by the Authorised Workshop which has carried out the service;
- one copy must be sent, by the Authorised Workshop which has carried out the service, to
the After-Sales Service Dept. of Cifa SpA.
5) The pump identification plate must be punched after every single check in the space
provided.
Introduction
The purpose of the "Free Service Coupon" and those of the "Annual Service" is to ensure
the thorough and expert maintenance which is essential for safe, regular and satisfactory
operation of the machine and for promptly remedying any faults.
Important
The "Free Service Coupon" and the "Annual Service Coupons" are drawn up by the
manufacturer. Failure to use the same may jeopardise safe use of the machine.
For correct use of the "Free Service Coupon" and the "Annual Service Coupons", we
would like to draw the attention of those concerned to the following:
• All Cifa Authorised Dealers, both in Italy and abroad, perform the operations listed on the
form.
The customer is responsible for supplying consumables such as lubricants, cartridges and
filters.
• If, during performance of the operations listed on the coupon, work should be required
which is not included, the general warranty regulations will be applied.
• Any forms not used during the first six months of operation of the machine, included in
the warranty period, are no longer valid.
• All the Cifa Authorised Workshops and Dealers, both in Italy and abroad, carry out the work
stated in the Service Book;
• the customers, responsible for the calls for service, must request an inspection before hand
(approximately one month in advance) and make the machine available for the time required
for the work;
• the inspection mainly consists of a visual and functional check designed to ensure safety
and regular operation of the machine.
• The results of the checks must be indicated on the service coupon, stamped by the
Cifa Workshop technician and by the customer who owns the machine;
• if during inspection any fault is noted and indicated, the customer must give approval
for the necessary repairs.
