The 5 Best Rappers

Everyone has their favourite genre of music. For me it is hip-hop. What makes all
rappers different though? If you rate them based on their voice, overall music, and live
performances, these are my top 5 favourite rappers.
My all time favourite rapper is Travis Scott. His voice sounds amazing but without
autotune it is not the best, but it is still very good. His music is amazing. It’s so catchy and can
make anyone’s day better. He always has good people featured on his songs and has no bad
ones. At his concerts he has the best visuals out of any rapper I have ever seen. His crowd is
also so hype and it just seems like the best experience ever. I hope one day I can experience
that myself. Extra points because he’s hot.
Don Toliver is my second favourite rapper. I just recently started listening to him more
and I already love him. His voice is so calm and nice to listen to compared to other rappers who
just yell into the mic. His music has such a good vibe to it and is very chill for hip-hop music. He
has just gotten popular this past year, so he has not had any chances to perform live, but I am
sure when he does it will be amazing!
Juice WRLD is my third favourite rapper. I have been listening to him for a long time, but
he had just started getting popular around mid-2018. His voice is so good and sounds almost
the same without autotune. He has no bad songs and all of them are so catchy. They will always
be stuck in your head. He didn’t get the chance to have very many live performances because
unfortunately he passed away in December 2019. When he did perform live, it was amazing. His
fans were all so positive and it just seemed like such a good environment to be in.
For my fourth favourite, it would have to be Lil Baby. His voice sounds unique compared
to some other rappers which is a great thing. His music is super vibey and there’s no doubt that
it’ll put you in a good mood when you hear it. He has just been getting bigger within the last
two years, so he hasn’t had a whole lot of live performances but from what I’ve seen they don’t
look that special. He sounds amazing but the crowd just does not seem hyped up at all and
there’s no crazy visuals which is why I had to put him at fourth.
The final person on my list is Roddy Ricch. His voice is very good, so he does not even
need any autotune. He is also very easy to understand unlike someone like Eminem for
example. A lot of his songs are good, but he also has a lot of songs that are not great. He also
almost never has features on his songs which would be nice. When he performs live, he doesn’t
have much cool visuals, but he just started doing concerts, so he hasn’t had much experience
performing yet. Overall, he is a good artist, I just had to put him last.
