Over 45+ B-Schools participate in the first-ever

“Artha Bhedam”
600+ management students across India participated in the
inaugural case study competition organized by Leveraged Growth.
Kolkata, 5th February 2020
Artha Bhedam, a financial forensics-based, Indian Equity-oriented corporate case study competition
for post-graduate management students, was developed by the research desk at Leveraged Growth
and conducted in association with Kotak Mutual Fund.

Over 45+ colleges across India had registered for this mega event, including 15 out of 20 IIMs and
various other colleges like FMS, MDI Murshidabad, etc. It was a two-phased online competition at
the national level, with 260+ participating teams, each comprising of 2-3 members.

Phase I, the financial quiz, was held on 10th January 2020. We received over 200+ entries, of which the
following 27 teams were shortlisted for the final round –

Phase II, the financial forensic case study round, was held between the 15th and 22nd of January 2020.
The top reports were sent to Ms. Lakshmi Iyer, CIO – Debt and Head – Products at Kotak Mahindra
AMC. She was actively involved in the final evaluation and selection of thewinners.

The results have been declared this week. The following teams won a whopping total of Rs. 40000/-
from Leveraged Growth.:-

ABOUT THE CEO

Mr. Aswini Bajaj is a Commerce Graduate from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and is a Guest Lecturer at
B-schools and colleges across the country including various IITs & IIMs. He also conducts training for
corporates like Tata, Barclays, Grasim, GRSE, Genpact, etc. and has received the award for the Best
Finance Trainer in India at the India Education Awards, 2019.
