The Green Treetop Adventure park is a popular adventure park located in Taman

Tenor Reserve Park. It is an outdoor adventure park which has various challenges.

The park is open to visitors aged 10 to 70 years old. It is open every day

from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. The fun challenges to try out includes spider nets,

balancing beams, rope swings, suspended bridges, barrel crossings and zip lining.

There are instructors stationed at all the challenges spots and along the

trails in the park. They will help visitors manoeuvre the different obstacles as well

as tell them how to use the equipment and inform them about the safety

instructions.

The Green Treetop Adventure Park cares for the trees in the reserve park too. All

the platforms and cables used for the suspended bridges and zip lining use a

system which protects the trees from getting damaged. Special protective logs

are used to prevent the cables from cutting into the trees. These protective logs

also minimize degradation of the tree trunks.

Read the advertisement below. Then, answer questions (a) — (j).

KARANG JAYA COMMUNITY CENTRE

Cooking Class
We will teach you how to cook Malay, Indian and Chinese dishes. Our dishes. Our class will be conducted by Mrs Ng,
a Swiss-qualifies chef. Classes will be held every Wednesday and they will be presented in English. A different dish
will be taught each week. The fee for the class is RM20.

Floral Design Class

In this class, you are going to learn the basic to flower arrangement from the basic tools you will need as how to
prepare for a big event and be able to pull if off confidently. Mrs Selva from Beautiful Flower will be teaching the
class. The fee for the class is RM15. Classes will be held every Saturday.

Web Design Class

This class will teach you about basic web designing; how to use colours effectively, understanding fonts, designing,
navigation, creating attractive graphics and using multimedia (sound, animation and other media) on your site.
Classes are held every Monday and the fee is RM10. Puan Aniza will be conducting the classes.

T’ai Chi Class

Our T’ai Chi classes will be conducted by Mr Lee Wan Yat. T’ai Chi Promotes balance and agility. Furthermore, It also
regulates your immune system and lowers your blood pressure. You will feel energised after each class. The fee is
RM 30 and classes are held every Tuesday.

Art Class
We will teach you how about sketching, watercolour painting and oil painting. The syllabus is easy to follow which
makes it user-friendly to everyone, regardless of age or ability. Miss De Souza, who studied art in England, will be
conducting the classes. Classes will be held every Thursday and the fee is RM40.

Come and join our classes at a very low fee!

Read the text below

Dear Swee Meng

I am so happy to hear from you. How are you and your family? I have been meaning write to you about our
last conversations.
I know exactly how you feel because I used to forsake rest too. I was spending too much time staying
connected with my friends and relatives through emails, texts messages and instant messenger. I did not get
enough sleep at night, so I ended up feeling tired and sleepy in the morning.
Here is what I did to overcome the problem. Firstly, I logged out from my email account, instant messenger
or a social networking site when I wanted to go to sleep. Your friends will also log out if they see that you are not
online.
Then, you should turn off any electrical devices in your bedroom. If you leave them switched on, the
glowing screens or dims lights can make it harder for you to fall asleep. Moreover, hearing the notifications
coming from your devices in the middle of the night only make matters worse.
You should also make sleep a priority. Tell your friends that you will not answer any calls and text
messages or reply to emails one hour before your bedtime. This will give you enough time to prepare for bed.
Your body and mind needs time to wind down as the bedtime approaches.
Please try out these steps to a more peaceful slumber. A good night sleep is what your body needs to
boost your energy so you can focus in school the next day. I hope these will be useful to you. Please write soon.
