DAY 1:

We travelled to Kochi from Mumbai via an indigo flight.

Filled self-declaration form about Covid on the airport and got interstate transit pass on email

from Government of Kerala. (which is mandatory to show in the hotel)

informed to Vicky Motta (Kongsberg Sr egg.), He is also available in Kochi.

While online hotel booking, we were getting the problems, because as per the rules for
interstate travellers we must quarantine for 14 days, anyone cannot book a hotel for less than
14days.

One property owner agreed for 7 days quarantine, we booked a hotel on an offline basis and
cancelled the online booking

Hotel F square, 

Fort Kochi (Mottoncheri)

Rate: 2500 for 2 occupancies, including breakfast.

Travelled to Fort Kochi from Kochi airport reached at 8 pm.

Expenses:

Travelled from Crew flat to Mumbai airport via Ola Rs 412

Travelled from Kochi airport to hotel via cab Rs 1396 (45km)

Kongsberg has the standard format of the Risk Assessment form, after permission of the

company he will share the same otherwise we will use BSPL format.

DAY 3:

Today we have gone through all the photos and videos which we captured in previous OJT,
noted the required tools and specific torque from the drawing.

also did inquiries about COVID-19 testing facilities in Kerala, -

for those who are entering Kerala from red zones, it’s Mandatory 14 days quarantine or
minimum 7 days quarantine with compulsory Covid test.
insisted to do the Covid test on the 5th day of quarantine but he was not agreed during a
phone call.
free Covid test from govt is only for the people who caught in contact with positive tested
individuals and the symptomatic persons.
For people who are asymptomatic Covid tests will be done in private labs and the fees are
between Rs 2800 to Rs 3500.

read previous service report and noted important points to be carried out during work onboard.

We are reading KAMEWA S3 71 manual.

Asked Yard No. to Vickey Motta (Kongsberg Sr Eng.) and separated useful drawings from
respective manual, after quarantine we will take printouts of the same.

We are reading KAMEWA S3 71 manual.

Tomorrow is last day of quarantine, at 4pm covid-19 test will be done at our hotel and result
will got in 24 hrs.

Extending stay in current hotel for 2 more days.

DAY 8:

We are reading KAMEWA S3 71 manual.

Today Covid-19 test is done at our hotel and result will got in 24 hrs, paid Rs:2750 each.

spoke to Vicky Motta (Kongsberg sr Eng.), he said that the ship will dock on Saturday and work
begins on Monday i.e. 02/11/2020.

he has already told his senior about the Risk assessment form but still, he is waiting for a
response.
