weeks’ reading. Think about and reflect on how your own identity and
heart will shape/ shapes your teaching practices. There are no wrong

6. Palmer (1998), states “We teach who we are… knowing my
students and my subject depends heavily on self-knowledge. When I
do not know myself, I cannot know who my students are” (p.1-2). Do
you agree with Palmer (2017) that self-knowledge is integral to
teaching?
