Introduction :
• Foster + Partners is a British international studio for architecture and integrated design, with
headquarters in London.
• Established by Norman Foster,a prominent British architect
• He was part of the architectural group Team 4 before branching off on his own to form
what would eventually be known as Foster + Partners.
• In 1968, Foster met architect Buckminster Fuller, who would deeply influence Foster's
design philosophy.

• Foster & Partners has been named the UK’s biggest architect for the third year in a
row(2018).
Project management leadership :

• The strategic direction of the practice is set by the Partnership Board: Norman
Foster (Founder and Executive Chairman), Stefan Behling, Grant Brooker, Nigel
Dancey, Spencer de Grey, Gerard Evenden, Luke Fox, David Nelson, Matthew
Streets and David Summerfield.
• Management is provided by the Management Board.
• Design Board has design responsibility for every project, from the start of the
design process through to construction drawings. 
 
• Delay and changes.

Project management metrics :

Project management metrics is a way to measure the success (or


performance) of a project.
For Foster +Partners:

• Customer satisfaction :by developing and maintaining a close, value-


added partnership with their clients.
• Productivity :it shows the relationship between inputs and outputs and
how Foster uses their resources .
• Community impact : architecture has the potential to influence human
relations in countless ways through the built space.
Information distribution:

Information distribution involves creating conditions that allow relevant informations


to be disturbed and disseminated among the project stakeholders and the project team.
The information distribution is essential in a project management because it assure
that the financial stakeholders are aware of the progress throughout as it helps to
assure no surprises in the end of the process .

From a organizational perspective, an information system is an important


instrument for creating value for the firm. It enable the firm to increase its revenue or
decrease its costs by providing information that helps managers make better decisions
or that improves the execution of project processes.
CONCLUSION :
Foster + partners is one of the top 10 architectural firms in the world with a
total fee income of 183.9 million US $ (THE WORLD’S LARGEST
ARCHITECTURE PRACTICES JANUARY 2020).
