In most "developed societies", visiting exotic places is now a sought
after status symbol. The tourist industries of both the developed and
developing countries have recognized this fact and are learning to
take advantage of it. There are, however, some problems associated
with this new industry.
Firstly, there is the increasing crime rate. Sonic locals see tourists as
easy prey because not only they are in an unfamiliar territory and
therefore less able to take care of themselves, but they also carry
visible items of wealth.
Another major problem is health. With greater mobility comes
greater danger of spreading contagious diseases around the world.
Also to be considered, it is the natural environment, which can be
seriously threatened by too many visitors. Australia's Great Harrier
Reef, for example. It is in danger of being destroyed by tourists and
there are plans to restrict visitors to some of the more delicate coral
cat's.
These are just three of the reasons why any country should be wary
of committing itself to an extensive tourism development
program.

The Moldovan folklore developed within the borders of the two great
regions of European civilization––the west and the southeast. Over

of regional geography. Therefore, Moldovan holidays, while
diversified by regional traditions, have common threads running
through them. The same unity can be found in the traditions and
customs throughout the country. They include Christian and non-
Christian holidays, which can be traced back to a pre-Christian period
of history. Since Moldovan is mainly and Eastern Orthodox country,
this form of Christianity permeates the spirit of the holidays, with
other themes such as the seasons or common trades being blended
within religious themes.

My outlook has always been to have hope in even the most
hopeless situations, trust people until they give you a reason not to,
& even if they do happen to make a mistake – forgive & understand
that everyone has flaws. Mistakes are a part of life. Years of
believing and acting upon these beliefs have led me to feel as
though I’m doing the right thing & the feeling of being true to
myself. Until recently that is ..
Lately I am coming to realize I am not being true to myself & I find
that I am only getting hurt & take advantage of in the end. I stay in
bad relationships longer then I should, allowing the other person to
make their mistakes and still give them a sense of security by
standing by their side. I let friends come in and out of my life when
they feel it’s convenient for them, while I have always been their
support when they need me, yet when I need a friend they couldn’t
be bothered. I have allowed people completely to betray me & still
give them my forgiveness.
TEST 2 “The internet has forever changed the way we live.”
Communication The way we communicate is forever changed. E-mail
is much faster than the snail-mail letters that were being sent and
received before the advent of the internet. Instant messaging has all
but replaced the telephone. There are people who claim that they
are more than twice as often as they talk on the phone. Text
messaging, although it is done using a phone, basically uses internet
type technology as well. This is a quick way to send a short message
when there isn’t time to have a long conversation via phone or
otherwise. It is used by professionals and everyday people alike.
Entertainment
Our idea of entertainment has changed. Former couch potatoes are
now computer potatoes. In fact, even people who were never that
big into TV are willing to sit for hours in front of their computers. But
what are they doing. For one thing, they are playing games on
online sites, which can mean retro games, card games and puzzle
games, both new and old. The also thoroughly enjoy Role Playing
Games, Massive Multiplayer Online games, First Person Shooters
and Real-Time Strategy games. In addition to gaming, people like to
listen to music online. This includes sites like Rhapsody, where you
can stream music (and listen unlimited, like a giant jukebox), iTunes
and e-music where you can buy digital music files like mp3 and mp4,
and so on. Online music also includes discovering independent music
and new music from artists, you have never heard of. This was hard
to do at a music store, where even the few CDs you could listen to
before you buy were major commercial releases.

The wedding is a performance with well-established rituals. Poetry, song,
dance and ceremonial costumes all have a detailed role in the wedding
ceremony. This ceremony begins when the spokesman of the bridegroom

throughout the village inviting the relatives and friends to the wedding. Then,
before the closed gates guarded by the bride's relatives, the bridegroom's best
man tells a story. It is the story of a young emperor who gathered a great army
and went hunting. While hunting, he saw a fairy and sent his warriors to look
for her. Following the fairy's trail, they arrive at the bride's house. They have
been told that there is a certain flower in the garden. This flower cannot bear
fruit because of the unsuitable soil in which it grows. The warriors came to pick
the flower and plant it in the young emperor's garden. There, the soil was
known to be good and provide the nutrients enabling the flower to bear fruit.
TEST 4 “Do you think it is a dangerous thing to judge about a nation by existing

The notion of stereotype is prejudice and discrimination. I think that to judge
a nation by a stereotype is wrong because not all is as it says or
heard. Stereotypes are "fixed idea that people have about what is someone or
something, especially something wrong ". Stereotypes are common views on
the personal characteristics of a group of people. An example would be that all
Arabs are terrorists. Of course it is a stereotype, because I do not
import religion or ethnicity, there are bad people worldwide. Another
stereotype is that all Americans are fat and are materialistic. Or
that Moldovans are poor Russians and consuming alcohol . I believe that all
these and many other stereotypes are false because each person in the
world is unique, has character thinking it differently  from
others, increased in different environment,  has a different level
of education, his preferences. In conclusion I can say
that both the nation stereotypes of certain people as well as most
cases are wrong. It isn’t no need to make conclusions about the person before
he knew the inner world
Language in human life      
Language - is the whole world. Native language helps to
live. Since prehistoric times man lives in society. This made it
necessary to be able to tell something to one person to
another, our thoughts, desires, feelings. Because of the
communication needs of, language originated.      
From early childhood, we understand the world, at first just out
of curiosity, then as needed to find his place in it. At the same
time we master the language. It is at the forefront
of knowledge. To examine an object or phenomenon, it should
be called, and then describe it in words. Inability to
name objects - this lack of knowledge of them. Any problem
should be, above all, formulated the words of the
language. Ability to verbalize correctly  his thoughts – it is not
easy but it is necessary. Even in ordinary conversation, the
speaker should be able to both, express the idea that
the listener understood it accordingly. Poorly expressed
thought - is not only an inability to speak, but their inability to
think
TEST 4 “Happiness is a value worth pursuing”
What is happiness? If we look we see the
following explanatory dictionary definition, happiness is a
state of complete contentment.  I think that for every  person
happiness consists  in different things. There are people
who are happy fortunately that have accumulated, the money
he has, for others happiness consists of the fact of
having friends, being healthy, being appreciated and
respected. For someone happiness is to be the star or to be
recognized in the world, or have a job that brings
them pleasure. Happiness is the harmony between what you
think, what you say and what you do. For me happiness is
to love and be loved, loved to see and know that she
needs you, and have few real friends that will be there and for
better or worse. All want to be happy but not all succeed. I
believe that happiness, plans, dreams and goals
that you've made in life are worth fighting for, to
do everything that is in your power, maybe
more. Like any human I have desires,  dreams and goals in
life. I hope I will  realize my desires. Submitting effort and I will
be happy.
TEST 5 “Choose one of the characters you remember well from your favourite
book”
Huckleberry Finn. In Huckleberry Finn, Mark Twain created a character who
exemplifies freedom within, and from, American society. Huck lives on the
margins of society because, as the son of the town drunkard, he is pretty much
an orphan. He sleeps where he pleases, provided that nobody chases him off,
and he eats when he pleases, provided that he can find a morsel. No one
requires him to attend school or church, bathe, or dress respectably. It is
understandable, if not expected, that Huck smokes and swears. Years of having
to fend for himself have invested Huck with a solid common sense and a
practical competence that complement Tom’s dreamy idealism and fantastical
approach to reality (Tom creates worlds for himself that are based on those in
stories he has read). But Huck does have two traits in common with Tom: a
zest for adventure and a belief in superstition.
Through Huck, Twain weighs the costs and benefits of living in a society against
those of living independently of society. For most of the novel, adult society
disapproves of Huck, but because Twain renders Huck such a likable boy, the
adults’ disapproval of Huck generally alienates us from them and not from
Huck himself.

a big wreath . I think that it is not right, because you must keep
your humanity and you have to love your friends, family and all
the people even if they have less success than you. Our life is a
boomerang and you must keep good relations with other
people. Success and fame don't give your love, heat and friends.
On the first place it will need humanity.
In conclusion I want to say that success and fame have negative
and positive consequences. It is very important to choose a
good and right way in your life.

Technology is very important in our life. Now we cannot do
anything without it. Of course it has advantages and

quickly. Airplane and superfast trains have reduced distance
between cities and countries. Computer and internet are
providing information in simplest way also it has changed the
way of communication. Now people are doing video
conferencing and chatting to communicate with their friends
and family, they use communication technology. Save Time -
Technologies are saving our time, for example you can fly
anywhere in the world in lesser time. With computer you can do
any work in lesser time and also it helps to enhance quality and
provide suggestions. Machines are helping people in kitchen too
- like Oven and it also saves time.
Every one knows that technology is very helpful but it has
some disadvantages too. Because many companies have
adopted automatic machines so that they can improve their
production with accuracy. As a result many people lost their job.
Similarly house maids are loosing their job because robotic
machines are doing their job. Owner need to pay one time only
while maid get paid for every month. However machines and
robots look inexpensive and good to use but, when any
technical problem occurs in machine or robot, it took much time
to fix it and also it can be expensive. As we found that in
technology sector, there are many advantages and
disadvantages, even then people can't imagine their life without
technology including me.

in diferite tipuri de sport sunt diferite. Din pacate Moldova nu are o
echipa puternica de football, tennis de cimp, hokey,
volleyball,basketball si altele. Tot este din cauza finantarii proaste, dar
din fericire avem o scoala extra ordinara de box, cu ajutorul careia
sportivii nostri ocupa locuri la olimpiada si alte campionate
importante.
Pentru mine este un exemplu Russia, deoarece la ei cu sportul in ultimii
ani statea cam prost. O tara asa de mare si cu sport rau dezvoltat, iar
dupa un ajutor considerabil din partea statului s-a ridicat considerabil.
Spania este una din tarile care este foarte bine dezvoltata in Tennis de
cimp, avind o scoala de tennis perfecta tenisistii spanioli detin locuri de
frunte in clasamentul mondial.
USA este un exemplu de tara sportiva, in domeniul de basketball,
beisball, rugby.
Kongo si tarile din Africa sunt liderii la alergare la diferite distante.
Pentru finala as dori sa fac o concluzie, experienta sau nivelul de
pregatire depinde de modul de trai.

fost prezenti la eveniment. Personal am fost prezent si mi-a placut
mult competitia, avind o sansa de victorie, dar am cedat-o altora. Eu
cu prietenul meu de copilarie si cu sora sa de patru ani am petrecut
timpul foarte placut.
Am participat in competitia de alergare la 100 de metri unde am
ocupat locul 2. Mai mult m-am bucurat locului 2 decit premiului care
la-m primit in suma de patru zeci de lei. In afara de alergat a fost
concurs de lupte Greco-romane si lupte libere si clar lucru fotbal,
unde nu am putut participa din cauza traumei care am primit-o la
sectia de tenis de cimp care o practice.
Dupa parerea mea cel mai fericit om in ziua ceea a fost sora
prietenului meu, deoarece a capatat prima sa diploma, ajungind
prima la finish dupa virsta sa. Asa emotii eu pentru prima data am
vazut. Dupa inminarea premiilor, s-a petrecut un show unde oameni
din echipa “Fulger” si-au prezentat posibilitatile. Mi-a placut foarte
mult, dar sora prietenului meu s-a speriat din cauza impuscaturilor
produse. A fost foarte bine, un multumesc enorm oraganizatorilor.

Another great personality that impressed me is Abraham Lincoln.
He impressed me in that, that he
abolished slavery and all he did for the country during the period
he was president. Lincoln was the sixteenth President of the United
States (1861 - 1865) and the first Republican president. He
noted the peaceful and abolitionist stance, becoming popular especially
among the poor in northern states. On January 1, 1863,Lincoln,
U.S. government signed the Emancipation Proclamation ,the abolition
of slavery.

O reputatie buna este una din cheiele succesului. Vorbind paralel
despre reputatie si bani pot spune urmatoarea, aceste doua notiuni
sunt strins legate intre ele. Dupa parerea mea reputatia este
capatata pentru a cistiga bani. Dar sunt de accord cu afirmatia caci:
“Reputatia nu o poti cumpara cu bani” asta este un lucru just.
Dar in prezent reputatia uneori se cumpara, mai bine spus se
cumpara nu reputatia dar omul. Oamenii sunt rai, in prezent fiecare
trage la sine. Cit mai mult sa fure daca este posibilitate, sa
amageasca si sa faca lucruri urite. Fiecare isi faureste viitorul dupa
putintele proprii, la unii mai bine se primeste la altii mai rau.
De asta si exista oameni rai si buni. Din pacate omul cu cit mai bogat
devine cu atit mai important devine in constiinta sa. Clar lucru ca
sunt exceptii, dar acest lucru se intimpla cam rar. Daca sa dau un
exemplu de reputatie care nu a fost cumparata cu bani si este foarte
importanta asta este compania “Apple”. Nu depinde de nimeni si si-
a cistigat reputatia de sinestatator. Din pacate ea a supravetuit
momente tragice, dar asta e viata.

Leisure is time that we  each has . Each uses free time in his own
way, some people just rest, watch TV, read a newspaper or a book,
browsing Internet. Each of us should not waste time free, but to do
good things for themselves , the  others, and  to society. It should
be useful to use free time to help parents, to get to the outdoors, to
walk, to help friends, enjoy life, to do something good for others, to
make a surprise for loved ones, read, we deal with charity, to care
for animals and lots of other useful things. I try to spend free
time usefully . I spend time with loved ones, friends, family, listening
to music, read a book or watch movies. But there are moments
when truly they are very tired, and I think that in free time moments
are to be used for recreation. Rest is necessary for people. If we rest
then we have strength for further work and we can work more
efficiently , and we have good results in everything we do, either at
school or career.

countries of the world?”
About one hundred years ago many educated people learned and
spoke French when they met people from other countries. Today
most people speak English when they meet foreigners. It has
become the new international language. There are more people who
speak English as a second language than people who speak English
as a first language. Why is this? There are many reasons why English
has become so popular. One of them is that English has become the
language of business. Another important reason is that popular
American culture (like movies, music, and McDonald's) has quickly
spread throughout the world. It has brought its language with it. Is it
good that English has spread to all parts of the world so quickly? I
don't know. It's important to have a language that the people of the
earth have in common. Our world has become very global and we
need to communicate with one another. On the other hand, English
is a fairly complicated language to learn and it brings its culture with
it. Do we really need that? Scientists have already tried to create an
artificial language that isn't too difficult and doesn't include any one
group's culture. It is called Esperanto. But it hasn't become popular.
But maybe the popularity of English won't last that long either. Who
knows? There are more people in the world who speak Chinese than
any other language. Maybe someday Chinese will be the new
international language.”

Every country and every nation has it's own traditions and customs.
Country which does not have traditions, it will not have future. It's
very important to know the traditions and customs of different
people. It will help you to know more about the history and life of
different nations and countries. One cannot speak about England
without speaking about it's traditions and customs .They are very
important in the life of English people .Englishman are proud of their
traditions and carefully keep them up. There are six public holidays a
year in G.B. Christmas day is one of their favorite holidays .It's
celebrated on the 25-th of December. There are some traditions
connected with it. One of them is to give presents to each other. It is
not only children and members of family. It's a tradition to give
Christmas presents to the people you work with. Another tradition is
to send Christmas cards. All these cards are bright and colored. Most
of big cities of G.B., especially London, are decorated with colored
lights and Christmas trees. On Trafalgar Square, in the center of
London stands a big Christmas tree. It is a gift from the people of
Oslo. It is over 50 feet high. Many families celebrate Christmas day
in the open air near the Christmas tree in order to catch the spirit of
Christmas. Children find Christmas presents in their stockings. The
traditional English dinner on Christmas is turkey and pudding. Other
great holidays are: Father’s day, Mother’s day, Halloween and other.

Some people say that there is no true love or that it doesn't last for too
long. People get used to each other and live with each other just
because it is more comfortable to do so. I think that there is nothing
worse than being with a person just because you lived with them for five
years and now it's kind of difficulty to imagine living without them. Love,
in my opinion, is not a source of comfort or source of profit in any kind
of way. True love is a source of living- when a sight or voice of the
person you love is something you need to see or hear to get through the
day. When love is in your heart, all the colors seem brighter, and you can
hear “the angels singing”. Love is that fast heart beat that is given by a
single, in some cases accidental, touch. Do you ever see people walking
by smiling into the space, looking like they were hit pretty hard in the
head? Ability to love is the greatest gift to mankind. I, personally never
believed in true love lasting forever until today. Sometimes all the bad
things, that happen around us, shadow what is there all along. However,
today I have met an old couple who radiated this sunny energy of their
happiness from being with each other. They had been with each other
for almost fifty years and still they seem like they were a college couple
with no boundaries and no care for whatever will come next. It’s rather
significant seeing someone who went through so much and still
treasures every second with each other. I truly wish each and every one
of you finds your soul mate. Love has its struggles and many times it
doesn’t seem reasonable. But if you risk falling in love it is so worth it.

into a family with wealth, power and influence. I think that if you
put too much effort, time used rationally l, have a good logic, have
relationships with influential people that  can be successful. This must

For success in life we must have good manners and etiquette. They are

and etiquette win the heart. They are like flowers that lend fragrance.
They are real ornaments of a gentleman and add greatness to his
personality. They have a magnetic effect. They Attract others towards

Other people think that everything has its cost. My personal opinion

such as feelings, friends, knowledge, etc. But of course it will not be
real. Below I would like to stand some points for my opinion.
First of all, I would like to notice that there are many people that
think that they can buy everything with money. Well, sure that they
can create an illusion of those things. For example, you may have
many people that will show themselves as your friends. But the
question is, will they really behave to you as your real friends and
help you one day when you will be in trouble? I think no. Because
people that only go after money and try to be your friends because
of that are not very good and fair people. For example I knew a
person that was very rich. Being more accurate, his father was very
rich and he was very popular in his school because of that. He had
many friends, girls and boys who were going after their money and
didn’t like that rich guy much. And one day when his father
bankrupted and needed some moral help of people that called
themselves friends, no one was there for him.
In conclusion, I can state that money and materialistic things are of
course important in our life. But things that are not tangible and
that you earn by your behavior and efforts are the most worthy and
best things in our life. Some things in our life cost money. But there
are also things that cost a life.

activity to provide the conditions necessary for our  body to function

decisions until an overwhelming majority of the constituents would
be happy with them.
Unfortunately, a vast majority of countries that call themselves
Representative Democracies are not true democracies according to

Dictatorships. I can vote usually only once every four or five years. I
do not vote on any issues. I just elect their so called representatives

ED Is a day designated 4 fostering appreciation of the earth’s environment and awareness of the issues that threaten it. People
celebrate it at April 22 but to my mind we should take care about the Earth not only once per year but every day./ I think we
should promote ideas of ecology, encourage respect 4 life on the Earth. 140 countries try to make it at 22 April each year but
does it is enough to change smth? I don’t think so. The Earth is our home, a beautiful place we all love vey much. But it’s
beauty is disappearing. All over the world, starting with the town u live in, till up the ice sheets of Antarctica and vast deserts in
Africa u can see one pattern that is repeating – hazardous ecological problems. The human impact on the environment
nowadays is a negative one. We do not take care about ecology and nature. Cutting down the forests and killing animals we
think just about our personal welfare. In such a way we make the Earth to revolve not around the sun but around money. The
world has changed very much since those times when people lived in harmony with mother-nature and there is a lot work to do
for saving the Earth. It really wonder me how proud people get when they plant a tree, recycle some garbage or use less
electricity one single day out of the year. They are very proud of it but if they want to save the Earth they should plant not just
one tree but a billion of them. I am sure you will agree with me that only one day per year is too little to save the nature,
because we have too much work to do./ Yes every day should be Earth Day. While ED is a good day to concentrate on cleaning
up and protecting the environment, it is a practice that should be continued each day of the year.

globalization of mass media made all news to be spread very fast through the world and made people to be informed about

articles of clothing. Fashion is also the way in which you interpret nature, what you perceive as beautiful and or how the world
appears around you. In a society dominated by materialism, the actual definition of fashion is shadowed and forgotten. Fashion
can be the current way in which you live, the business of creating or studying styles and finally the way in which you act. Nature
has its own fashion, it behaves in a way that it perceives as natural – the flowers growing weary each night, the birds puffing
and singing glorious little songs, the sky turning from pink to blue./ Fashion does not stops on clothing styles, it is much greater
and complex than that. Everything has beauty but the only one problem is that not everyone sees it.

are also more active, involved, and generous with charity, church, and volunteer organizations? They find time to make giving a

impact, not your stuff, power, position or busy schedule. Successful people make more time to serve the others. Becoming
successful it is directly proportional to what you give. Some people give to get and I guarantee that you will get more in return

participate in culture. Language is the sounds and written symbols that allow people to express their thoughts, their feelings. In
fact, language can be said to be major cornerstone of culture. Without language people can not interact, without interaction
there is no identity to a group. Nowadays it has become an integral part of social and economical life. The land is real bedrock
of culture because there is no culture without land. If people lose their land they become a survival culture.

The good life is that, that each of us is dreaming about . But how this dream may be realized?/ Tom my mind the good life is
possible only than, when we live in harmony with the other people, the entire world and ourselves. Chinese people determined
the harmony as balance between evil and good. This seems we should really know how to live, keeping this balance. I agree
that the good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. Once upon a time my grandfather has told me that the
foolish people seek happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under their feet. I am sure that if a person exactly knows what
he wants to achieve, make some plans and do everything possible to achieve his goals, everything will be ok. The God does not
throw food into the bird’s nest and just by working hard we can have a good life. But also it is impossible to live without love. I
consider it to be the main thing in my life. For me love is equal with the peace in my family, it gives me the ability to admire the
beauties of the world, it is a source of energy that makes me to go further in spite of all difficulties and disappointments. / Love

have such a lot of problems. Man has been endowed with reason, with the power to create, so that he can add to what he’s
been given. But up to now he hasn’t been a creator, only a destroyer. Forests keep disappearing, rivers dry up, wild life’s
become extinct, the climate’s been ruined and the land becomes poorer every day. Let’s keep our nature untouched!!

To my mind the education is very important for each of us. But we also should not stop on it, because that’s not enough 4 an
intelligent and wise person to have just school or university education. The life experience is also important. That’s why I
absolutely agree with this quotation./ From my point of view the aim of education should be to teach us rather how to think ,
than what to think – rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load our memory with
thoughts of other men. The aim of education is to teach us how to use our knowledge and how to continue with self education
after graduating the school. For example Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world, even didn’t finish the school. His secret
is self education. He worked hard by himself and got a lot of knowledge and experience. As a result he created Microsoft which
made knowledge to be available 4 everybody. Without focusing on education, u will find that your career choices are limited.
The best way to reach career, success is to map out a strategy and set goals. U should focus on things that u like, including
hobbies, talents, and interests and determine a career goal. Once u have an idea of what u would like to do, u will need to
create a plan or strategy to reach those goals. Surely we’ll get use of some knowledge we’ve fulfilled at the university but also
we’ll face up with smth new. That’s why without self education which continues after the school-room it is impossible to
accomplish career goals. / As a conclusion I would like to say that no teacher will make us to be really clever and successful. We
by our own are sculptors of our future and our minds.

nation lies between two rivers, the Dniester an the Prut. The population of Mold is 3.938.679 In Mold there are a lot of ethnic
groups, such as: Moldovans, Ukrainians, Russians, Gagausian, Romanians, Bulgarians, Romanian, Jews, Poles. Our people are very
hospitable and each of them may offer you very tasty Moldovan wine./ Mold is my motherland, a country I love very much and

Nowadays internet has a big value for all people. For me it too is very important. Internet helps me to study, to communicate, to
travel around the world and for this I even don’t need to went out from my room./ The xxi century is the era of globalization and
the internet is one of it’s instruments. Bill Gates has said: “The internet is becoming the town square for the global village of
tomorrow.” I agree with him because the internet made people all over the world to be closer to each other. It gave the
possibility to people to communicate freely and openly. If you want to be alone – you can make it with the help of the internet, if
you want to be an active member of the modern society you can also achieve this goal with the help of our common friend Mr.
Internet. Using internet you can find whatever you need because it is an unlimited source of knowledge. To my mind it has
become the world’s largest library, acceptable for all people. Internet allow us to buy goods by clicking one button. For a lot of
people it has become a solution of their main problem – unemployment. It’s possible even for a simple user to start an on line
business and make money if he has an modern and interesting idea. The internet is very big and powerful and day by day by
spending hours in world web we make it’s power upon us to grow up./ I agree that internet has forever changed the way we live,

individual, you are likely to make errors in your estimates of a person's character. stereotyping is dangerous because your
actions and/or behavior will be based on it. You may act racist/sexist due to your belief that all persons of this religion, culture,
race, gender, etc. are all bad or good. Such an assumption would not be factual but will serve as a hinderance for globalization.
All people have cultural differences but its important to understand those differences.

enough just to have a home and family. But surely , to get the things that we call happiness we should work very hard. People
take different ways seeking fulfillment and happiness. Sometimes they are not on our road, but it doesn’t mean that they’ve
gotten lost. When we do not find happiness we should not stop to look for it. We should go further and further, passing
through all difficulties. I am a simple guy but I do not believe in destiny. I believe in my powers. If you want to be happy be and
it’s no matter how hard it is to achieve this happiness, because it is worth pursuing.

upon human culture. These two spheres depend on each other, because when people are not educated their economy slow down, because
they do not have enough knowledge to make money. And on the other side, when people have no money they suppose their children to work
because of the poverty – when people have no money 4 food they do not think about education. In such a way people degrade. Basing on the
above mentioned ideas I can make a conclusion that the education is the main factor the level of people’s culture depends on. Children get
approximately 70 ???? develop there as individuals. Good education speed up cultural development and guarantee the welfare of our children
and prosperity of the nation.

If I could go back to some time and place in the past I would like to go to the UK to meet William Shakespeare. He was the world greatest poet
and dramatist. William Shakespeare was a person who discovered 4 himself the English soul and made the others to understand it too. He was
and continue to be the idol of the nation.// Shakespeare made complete use of the English language. There is no better way 4 a foreigner or an
Englishman to understand the richness of the English language than by reading Shakespeare’s works. I’m impressed by the British culture and
customs. If I had a possibility to have a talk with WS I would ask him what he consider to be the most significant thing for British people, what is
the most valuable thing in their culture. I think that his answer would help me to understand better the Englishmen mentality. Secondly I would
ask him why he started to write. How he could become a famous writer knowing only old Latin and old Greek. Such people as WS are genius
and they can share with us such knowledge that will help us to improve our lives and to keep up our culture.

To my mind the world is an organism whose heart consist of cells called human and all together we form the world’s heart. Human society is a
thing the entire world depends on and it’s possible to change the human community just by changing the human community.// Somebody may
say that it’s impossible to change the entire society, to change each of us, and I agree with it, but from my point of view we have no need to
change the people, just to moderate their attitude to some things. I’m sure that people are in power to make whatever they want, that we are
in power as to destroy all around us and also to create smth good, beautiful. But there is a problem, a question which is very difficult to be
answered: how to change the peoples attitude to their actions, how to make an effective brainwashing? If I were in power to make the world
even a little better I would make three things I consider to be the most important for the world’s future. Firstly I would make people to
understand that we are a part of the nature and destroying it we hurt ourselves. People should understand that we should take care about the
nature because it takes care of us. Secondly I would teach people to be kinder to each other because having no harmony in our souls, being not
able to help each other we also will not be able to join together for making the world better. And the last thing I would do to improve the
world, I would pay much more attention on it’s future – on children. We, adult people, may start to improve the world but our efforts would be
insufficient and just our children depends on what would be further. They should understand the mistakes of their ancestors. For not making

A book is one of the greatest wonders of world. You with the characters of the books can find yourselves in different countries
and have a lot of adventures. I have read a lot of interesting books, but my favourite book is «The Adventures of Tom Sawyer»
by Mark Twain. This book is well known all over the world. When I read it made me to remember my own childhood. The main
character of the book is Tom Sawyer, who lived in a small town on the Mississippi River. He was a boy with a wild imagination.
He and his friends often dreamed of different adventures. Tom was naughty, kind and brave. Besides, he was noble. I like this
boy because he teaches us to be true friends. Tom Sawyer remains Twain’s joyful ode to the endless possibilities of childhood. I
promise you are going to have a good time reading this book

To my mind vice is one of the worst human vices because it makes people’s soul to rot. It change people very much in a very
short period of time and it’s very hard to make arrogant people to change themselves back. But where from does it appear
human pride? To some people success comes faster than they are able to endure it. Only strong people can achieve success and
keep it. Those who are a little beat weaker, facing up with success and fame can not resist and open for pride the gates of their
mind and soul. Those people start thinking about themselves that they are the best. Such people are sure that by themselves
the have achieved everything they have and forget about the people who were near them all this time, supported them and
helped them very much. In a short period of time pride people start to lose harmony in their families, they start to lose their
friends. They also lose a very important thing that can not be returned back – this is the respect of other people. Surely once
upon a time arrogant people will recognize that they were not right but it will be too late./ Success and fame negatively affects

day we need more and more natural sources. Nowadays the economy of such countries as Russia, USA, Arabic Emirates
depend on energetic industry. That’s why these countries try to stop the development of alternative sources of energy. But that
is the most known that the sources of oil and gas that remained on our planet will be finished in 150 years and it may hurt very
much the world’s economy. I think that people should not forget that we too are a part of nature and to live in peace and
harmony with mother-nature is much more better than to kill it 4 money. Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds,
look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful.  Everything is simply happy. 
Trees are happy for no reason; they are not going to become prime ministers or presidents and they are not going to become
rich and they will never have any

mind a good reputation is far more important than the size of our latest paycheck. The reputation and a good name are
to be above riches. We chase after many things in life and we often de-value and under-invest in relationships which
should be our priority. But we should recognize that, living in XXI century – the era of globalization, our personal
development, welfare, business and those things we chase after depend on the way we cooperate with the other
people. But it is impossible to have good relationships with the others when they do not respect us. Everybody knows
that 4 a person with a good reputation all the doors are opened, because when a person we need to be helped by
knows about our good reputation and also knows that the other people respect us he will agree to have a deal with
such a reliable and smart persons as we are. From my point of view the reputation is like a currency which is much
 more valuable than money, because it can help us to resolve all our problems just by making a call phone and talking
with a person who may help us with it.

There are a lot of famous people in the USA, who are well known all over the world and have played an important role in
development of the modern society. My idol is an American automobile manufacturer Henry Ford. He revolutionized the early
industry with his low-priced Model T, produced by assembly-line method. Henry Ford was not the first person who built an
automobile. But he saw it’s potential importance : as he said” everybody wants to be somewhere he isn’t” Ford’s dream was to
build an affordable car. The 1st car produced by the Ford Motor Company in 1903 was sold within a month. Ford became the
majority stockholder and president in 1906. The model T Ford, of which 15mln were sold at a price that many Americans could
afford, was the automobile that changed the pattern of life in the US. His model T Ford and assembly-line method made a
revolution in the automobile industry.

The human live on the Earth during a lot of thousand years. In comparing with this term our life is too short to make smth
significant 4 the entire humanity or 4 the country we live in./ To my mind if we want to manage to do something useful to
make other people not to forget us after our death we should use each minute of our life. The leisure time also should not be
wasted. Doing smth useful, developing mentally we give ourselves possibilities to realize all our dreams. Aristotle has told: “ we
give up leisure in order that we may have leisure, just as we go to war in order that we may have peace”. I agree with the Greek
philosopher because just by ourselves we decide how to spend our free time: to work or not to develop or to degrade. From my
point of view Leisure means just a chance to make smth that demand attention. The free hours in our lives may be used by
ourselves to invent smth new or to dream, other words to create new goals and try to achieve them. Leisure time may also be
used to develop our soul – to help other people or simply to read the Holy Bible./ I would not change my leisure hours 4 all the
wealth in the world, because it’s the only time I can freely develop myself from to get pleasure from what I am doing.

CIV 11: Why do u think the English language is taught in many countries of the world?

The XXI century is the era of globalization when countries and people all over the world are much more closer with each other
than some centuries before. Such close relationships makes us to cooperate with each other and as usual English language is
used 4 it. Over 600 million people speak English as a first language, with over 580 million speaking it as an additional language.
But what makes English an international language? It is the official language of the United Nations . It's the most widely used
language in science and on the Internet. If two non-native speakers want to communicate, it's likely they'll do so in English.
School educate new generations that should continue to develop the process of globalization in order to improve the life of the
entire humanity. With around a billion learners of English worldwide and growing, teaching English as a second language is one
of the 21st century's major career opportunities, offering unrivalled job security and opportunities to travel to every corner of
the globe. To my mind English language is one of the most important things the globalization depend on and this is the reason
why it should be taught at schools and universities all over the world.

CRE 11: A heart that loves is always young.

What is love? To my mind it is the biggest power that does exist. Love is a symbol of eternity.  It wipes out all sense of time,
destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end. / I think that there is really no person who may say that love is
unimportant. Albert Enstein has said “Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.” I agree with his quotation and
moreover I think that the time also has no power upon those people who love. Love gives to people strength, vigor, energy and
enthusiasm. Love is such a big source of energy that gives to a person who really loves power to overcame all difficulties, to
realize all dreams and to achieve the main aim of each of us – to be happy. When we are in love we start to see those things
we’ve never noticed before: the beauty of nature, kindness, we find out that the life is beautiful. Sometimes love make us to be
mad but this is a madness that everybody dream about, because when love is not madness it is not love. A person that loves
lives in harmony with the entire world. Living in harmony we create an invisible shield that protects us from sins and other
things which make our heart and soul to degrade, to become older and at the end to die. A baby is born with a need to be
loved- and never outgrows it. Loving and being loved we become older just physically but a baby inside us does not grows up./
To my mind we are not loved because we are beautiful but we are beautiful because we are loved. Love each other and u will
be happy and always young.
 Essay 1 A round the World Trip

Many people try to see more in their life, to travel and to gain energy, to feel the energy of the
time, to feel it...

So, a special place in our life has travelling. It is a situation that needs a special preparation, and
a well-thought route. Nothing should be done in a hurry, you must think very well what things to take
with you, to plan you itinerary and to be ready for it.

If I win a round the world trip, I’ll take the map in my hands and looking at it, I can start my
imaginary trip.

I leave the house quickly and go to the bus station, from there I take the first bus to Romania, to
Bran to see the Bran Castle, and to listen one more time the Dracula’s legend. Going south I will get
quickly to Bucharest to see the Parliament Palace and after that in a hurry to Alba-Iulia for “the desert” –
Piata Revolutiei. So going to Western Europe, almost all the countries are on the list, but only a few
points of interest like: Eiffel Tower in France, Zeus Palace in Greece, Bundesthag in Germany, ONU head
office in Switzerland, madam Tousseau’s museum and Big Ben in the UK, the tower from Pisa, the old
Venice and get to Spain at haiku time.

From Lisbon taking the plane to NewYork to feel the real American life, and after that with the
bus directly to Washington to see the main offices of American democracy, the Smithsonian’s museums
and maybe to have tea with my old friend Obama , after that going to Las Vegas to gamble a few
hundreds, to feel the spirit of players and to visit Hollywood. After, I’ll take the ship for a cruise around
South America – Colombia, Peru (Machu Pichu – the first civilization), Chile, Argentina, and get finally to
Brazil to see the Carnaval. After a week I’m taking the plane to Japan to eat sushi, to see a few research
institutions, to see sumo fights and to meet a real samurai.

The next is China with its sweet rice and great Chinese Wall, and going further for a week to a
kung-fu school for meditation. Taking a ship to Turkey to see the market and to drink a cup of Turkish
tea.

And taking the plane from Istanbul I’m getting back home, my plane is landing, I’m getting off
the plane and feel the smell of Motherland in my lungs, you don’t even imagine how I missed you.

Now I’m going back to Soroca, and the road seems to me so strange, so different, but so short,
and finally… “home, sweet home”…

Essay 2 Patriotism consists not in waving the flag, but in striving that our country shall be…
 For every person his country is a sacred place. It is the place where our close people live, where
we spent our childhood, got our school education, learnt our culture, traditions.

That’s why our country is very important for us. We must not betray it when we go far away.
We must be proud of our country, we must praise it’s culture, defy good traditions and the beauty of
the country and people.

A real patriot is proud of his country, and also he is worried about it’s future. If he leaves his
country for some reason, he will remain a patriot anyway.

I know some people who left Moldova and remained good patriots of it. They send money for
orphanages , monasteries, they are talking with pride about the beauty of our country, its culture, great
people, and also sometimes they write articles and books about them.

Most of people say that life in Moldova doesn’t depend on them. But they are wrong. If we have
an active position in our society and also in political life, we can change something. Before voting a new
government or a new president, everybody must analyze all facts and information and make his choice.

We all can do much for the environment of our country. We can be volunteers to clean our
streets, parks and bank of the river. People should stop dropping litter everywhere, cutting trees. If
everybody plants flowers and some trees near his house our country will be a better place to live!

Also we must prove that we aren’t indifferent for what happens in our country with the society.
And so we can contribute to a better life for people in need . For example : we can work in different
centers , and help old people or handicapped people.

I think that our country is full of different people because the nation is divided, half patriots and
half traitors, and no man can tell who is who. However I can say that I’m trying to develop feeling of
patriotism in my soul, and I think that I’ll succeed. I was born an Moldavan, I will live as a Moldavian, and
I shall die as a Moldavian!

We must not be indifferent to all that surrounds us, and try to make the world were we live,
better and better day by day. We must live the life after the device : „My Country! When right keeps it
right; when wrong, sets it right! ”

Essay 3 The Impact of Human Activity on the Earth.

 Human activity influences our environment very negatively. People damage the nature, pollute
the ground, water, air, throw waste material into our atmosphere . Every year our planet becomes more
and more polluted.

Traffic fumes destroy trees, and plants. They are also dangerous for people and animals. More
and more trees are dying in parks and orchards. Besides people cut down many forests that are the
major source of oxygen for the air we breathe. If we continue cutting and destroying trees, our planet
will become lifeless.

People all over the world speak about endangered animals. In Moldova these are roes, foxes,
wild boars, also from birds – pheasants.

Chemical fertilizers also pollute ground, water and endanger animals that feed on plants.
People also take some of these chemicals into their bodies when they eat plants or meat.

People must stop polluting their own planet. They must take different measures to save the
world from pollution, stop throwing litter everywhere. All nuclear experiments must be limited.
Recycling of material can help to solve the problem with wastes and litter.

I hope there will be more restrictions and penalty measures against those who pollute the
environment and the ecological situation will be better.

Essay 4 The influence of Modern Technology on Society.

Modern Technology plays a very significant role in our society. It entered in every aspect of our
life. We use different techniques and technologies at work, at home, in the street, in services.

We can’t imagine our life without techniques and technologies. Different machines replace
human jobs, help in communication, calculations, entertainment.

Using mobile phones we can always keep in touch with family members, conduct business, have
access to a telephone in case of an emergency.

Computers and Internet helps us receive any information we need. E-mails that we write to our
close people come in no time. Computer is the greatest wonder of our time. It has become an
important part of our life. All schools, offices, factories, hospitals, most homes have computers.

Our life differs greatly from the life in the past, thank to modern technologies. But it didn’t
become better and simpler.
 Techniques and technologies pollute our environment, damage people’s health. Radiation from
mobiles, computers, TV-sets cause cancer. Another problem of modern technologies is that we are
becoming dependent on it more and more. We are becoming lazier, lead more sedentary life. People
drive more cars than walk, speak more over phones than meet friends, watch more TV than read books.

In order to avoid negative influence of modern technology we must limit the usage of it, and be
less independent on it.

Essay 5 What features of English/American education would you like to introduce into the
system of education in Moldova?

School education in Moldova is very well- organized. Children go to school at the age 6 or 7. The
state provides all children with free education that is divided into 3 stages : primary school, gymnasium
and lyceum.

In primary schools children get very serious rudimentary education. At the end of primary school
children pass their first exams. In America and in England primary education is much easier and children
don’t write any tests and exams.

On finishing of gymnasium stage children can go to colleges or professional schools. They also
have to pass very serious exams. They are educated in all subjects. These are the strongest points that I
admire in our system of education.

But there are some features of English and American education that I would like to introduce
into the system of education in Moldova. In England and in America the scores are written on the tests
and not in the catalogues just for students to know their mistakes. Students never cheat during tests
because they are more interested in their knowledge than in their scores. Pupils in Moldova fight more
for good scores in their certificate and diplomas because they enter in universities according to their
scores.

I would change it. There must be entrance exams in universities from Moldova again where
school-leavers could confirm their knowledge. I would also take some features of American Educational
System where student must learn much by their own.

Essay 6 Parents are the best teachers

 Everyone is affected by certain events or individuals that greatly change their life. There are
many people that have had an impact on my life and influenced me in many different ways.

My parents , however, have had the biggest one, they influenced me more than anyone else.
They have had an impact on me since the day I was born, and they still do it today. They have supported
me, given me necessary criticism, and taught me a great deal about how to live my life.

I can say that I totally agree with the statement that Parents are the best teachers. However
home is the first and most important school where parents are the teachers and children are the
students. If parents want good children they should become first the best teachers. Parents should first
become the ideal for their children. Children can be ideal if parents give attention to their children since
childhood. Parents should always give good teaching to their children.

For me my they are the best teachers, they taught me how to walk, talk, and among many
other things hopefully distinguish right from wrong. They taught me to believe in God, they develop my
good faith.

For a good, intelligent, well mannered and decent child first of all, parents are the best
teachers. The reason behind this is that teaching starts from home. If the base is strong then good fruit
will develop.

I thank God for this gift - my parents. I know that my life would not be the same without their
influence. And it is because of them that I am the person I am today.

A perfect lifestyle can mean something different from a person to another. In addition, some
important factors should be considered to have a healthy lifestyle, such as eating, exercising regularly,
and getting enough sleep at night.

First of all, eating healthy food is important for our health. In my view people who eat healthy
food , have good stamina to do hard work. Food gives energy to us. Therefore, if a person who eats food
which has vitamins, proteins, iron and other important nutrients then he or she will be protected from
diseases. People who have no diseases can enjoy their life and take interest in their work. A good mind
can be developed if people eat healthy food. Therefore, I would like to say people should not eat food
only to fill the stomach but for the development of good health.

Exercise is another key ingredient in maintaining a healthy well balanced lifestyle. Everybody
should exercise a minimum of 3 days a week for a minimum of about 20 min. This does not mean that
you have to impose a strict regiment of exercise into your daily schedule. An easy way to attain a nice
amount of physical activity would be to begin going for walks or jogs with your pet or your
neighborhood friends. Everyone wants to feel good about themselves, by doing exercises or workouts
you can achieve a healthy body figure, as well as feel good about yourself.

I think that our health is in our hands, we want to be healthy, we will make something for this,
but if we stay in waiting for health, it doesn’t work. Our health depends on us.

Essay 8 Studies Abroad

Many young people dream about studies abroad but not everybody knows what difficulties can
await them in a foreign country. They imagine the enjoyable life full of adventures, exciting parties, only
successful exams and everything granted for them. They don’t think that in a foreign country they
remain aliens, have different language, culture, mentality. Besides, they will be far away from their
families and close people. If they have problems they must solve them alone.

Accommodation and study abroad cost much money. Many young people have to work in order
to pay for everything. Only few of them are allowed to work. Most of them work illegally and get a lot of
troubles.

There are good chances to study in our country. There are good universities, colleges where
good specialists are prepared. In many universities the education is accepted in all over the world. You
can learn English perfectly there because specialists from America and England teach in these
universities. If you are an excellent student the University of Moldova can send you to study abroad.
There are many competitions for study in prestigious European or American Universities where
students can study for free and everything for them is secured.

It would be a great chance for me if I won such a contest. I plan to study at the State University
in Chisinau but if there is such a possibility to study in a foreign University for free I would be very
happy. But first I would prepare for it. I would study the language, the culture of the country, and then I
would go there.

Museums play a very important role in the development of culture, education, moral laws of
people. They keep history, art alive.

I have been in the museums of every city where I had a chance to travel and it made my
travelling very interesting and funny.

Because of their significance for the society most museums are not for profit. They are
protected by state.

Many museums organize exhibitions for schoolchildren for better learning. Such exhibitions are
not only informative but also interactive.

I think museums have big future. I imagine they will be able to become the true centres of
research and education, they will also examine the changes in the society and in the environment. The
people who want to work in a museum will have good career and interesting life.

Friendship is a precious thing that we have. It’s a gift that God gave us to keep it in peace. My
personal definition of what friendship is, is a feeling or emotion expressed in such a way that another
feels wanted and important, a relationship between a person or persons where everyone has some
companion to talk to when he/she is in need of one.

An ideal friend is the friend that can tell you the truth that your face is dirty for example; it’s the
person that knows almost everything about you; it’s the person on who’s shoulder you can cry on, you
can share all your problems and joys. An ideal friend is the person you can always rely on for anything
no matter what. Is someone who is always looking out for you, a friend must be someone you can trust
and who trusts you , because friendship is mostly based on respect and confidence.

Real close friends must be everywhere together, and have a lot in common. Because when they
had different interests in the life, their ways in life will be separated. Friends must be together in the
bad and also good times. Spending time one with another and understanding where they are coming
from is a good base of friendship. Many people do not often realize the intense relationship that one has
with a friend until it is lost. So the writers advice is to treat ones friends the way one would want to be
treated.

I think that is the greatest thing to have someone close to spend the time with, besides our
family. I have such a friend, and I’m very thankful to God for this . I wish that all the people should be
friends, and live the life in all its beauties. And everyone must memorize that we have less friend that we
know and more than we can imagine.

The life in different places has its advantages and disadvantages. And everywhere a man can be
happy if he leads a healthy way of life and has the occupation he enjoys.
 There are more chances to get good education and to find a god job in a big city, but there is so
much stress and competition there. In a village the main job is farming and taking care of animals . It is a
hard job but it is healthy. Farmers are strong, breathe fresh air, eat fresh food, live longer than people in
a city. The air in a big city is polluted because of smog, heavy transport, dust, industry. That’s why
people in a city are very unhealthy, and even high-developed medicine can’t resolve the situation. City
dwellers enjoy the big variety of shops, restaurants, theatres, museums, concert halls. You can have very
exciting life and many possibilities for your entertainment. But everywhere in a city there are crowds of
people and it is very noisy there. The rush-hours are awful.

In comparing to a city the life in a village is very quite and unsafe. Many city inhabitants don’t
have many friends and even don’t know their neighbours. People in a village are like a big family, they
know and keep each other.

I don’t know where I will live. It’s definitely that I will study at the University in a big city, and
perhaps I will find a job there. But I know that I will have a small house in a village where I will be able to
rest, to enjoy the nature, to plant fruit and vegetables. Farming occupation will help me stay healthy
and physical fit for long years.

It is important in life to make right decisions. We have to make decisions any minute. Some
decisions are significant and others are not very significant. But sometimes unimportant decisions can
influence our life greatly. For example if you decide to cross the road when the traffic lights are red you
can get into an accident.

Everybody should be able to make decisions. But not everybody can make a right decisions, if he
doesn’t have enough knowledge and experience. That’s why it is good to ask for advice people, who
have more experience than you. Every child must tell his parents about all his problems and ask them
for advice. Parents are responsible for their children and must take part in making of their decisions. But
when children grow up and must take very important decisions in their life parents can give them
advice but they must not influence their decisions. When a person decide to choose a profession, a job,
a partner to marry, his decisions must not be based on his parents’ opinions. Grown-ups must make
their own decisions and be responsible for them. They can listen to the advice of other people but keep
their opinion. If you want to make a right decision, you should take all facts into consideration, analyze
them and foretell the results of your decision.

My parents always help me to make a decision, we discuss all facts together, discuss our
opinions. We respect the ideas of each other even they are different. But I am learning how to make my
own decisions in case I go to the University and don’t live with my parents.

Essay 14 Stress – positive and negative sides of it.

Stress is a bad feeling of anxiety that is created when we react to particular events, tough
situations. It is the pressure of life with conflicts and troubles.

It has more negative sides than positive. Because of much anxiety and overload people can stop
sleeping, eating disorders can develop different nervous illnesses can appear. Many people get
depressed or aggressive and may take their stress out on other people. There are some positive sides of
stress. Feeling a little stress before your exam can motivate you to study better. When you overcome
stressful situations you get very useful experience and become more strong-willed. It is difficult to
overcome stress but every person must learn how to do it. Stress-management skills will help you keep
stress under control.

You should be realistic in everything. Realize that nobody is perfect and everybody makes
mistakes. Remain calm and cool-headed in every difficult situation. At the same time you should be
optimistic and believe that everything will be fine. When you have stress learn to relax. Have activities
that are calming and pleasurable. Read a good book, make time for a hobby, spend time with your
friends.

Although I get stressed very quickly. I always try to control my emotions. I learn to solve
everyday problems calmly and with optimism.

One thing specific to people nowadays is watching TV, or something else. But a big part of

That’s why I think that this film is a wonderful heart-wrecking love story for twins, teens and
even adults.

That moment when I watched the film was unforgettable. And my opinion will ever be the
same, that film is a fantastic story with a real end. Because in reality is the same thing: after a wonderful
life, we all will die, isn’t so?

From long time ago, people made their life in their Own style, with their own power and
capabilities. But there are such a word like ″fashion″. It rules the world indirectly and this fashion is like a
religion with a lot of parishioners. Today blue, yesterday pink, tomorrow yellow, and everybody
worships to fashion law.

But for reducing the fashion power and not to permit to influence different fields – there are
such things like uniforms. Uniforms are used in industry, schools, churches, economics. In different fields
are not really uniforms, but only a kind of.

That’s why, many schools, use to introduce a school uniform. In modern literature it is an
idea, that only elite schools use for their students uniforms.

But nowadays a lot of schools use to do it. There many people against and pro. First,
children can be against, because many of them only like this and could show themselves. Other children
can be pro because of the fact that their families can not allow to buy different stuff for them to be in a
step with ″fashion″.

Also a pro idea can be that children wouldn’t discuss each other instead of learning and
thinking about more important things.

The uniform means education, power and in the end supremacy. The uniform means life.

Essay 5 Why should people speak English?

People all over the world speak a lot of languages. People in France speak mostly French,
people in U.S speak mostly English, people in Moldova speak mostly Romanian. But there is a language
that unite all the world, which is of course English. People always ask themselves why do they need to
know it, why they should speak it?
 It seems today that English is taking over the world. In many countries it’s a national
language, but there are many other countries which are starting to use it. For example, in oau country
there are many universities even offers English second language classes, so, we foreigners also can learn
English.

In this way there are 2 kinds of people: people who speak English, and people who want to
speak English.

There are many reasons why people must speak English. The first I think that like English is
the most wide spread language in the world, it persist everywhere, in all areas. The second is that in our
country it’s still spoken and integrated in the school programs. Massmedia also came to us from abroad
in English. That’s why we must know the English language.

Especially for teenagers, we, which want to go to explore all the world, how we would do it,
if we don’t know this language, which is the most spread in the world

People will always communicate through talking as long as we are alive. Old languages a
dying, and new are being created. English just happens to be widely used through the world.

It has different dialects, which sound different, but it’s still the same language. If you don’t
speak it, let start to speak it together.

Essay 6 Young people often have problems with the elder generation.

Youth is a very important period in the life of man. This is the time when a person discovers
the world and tries to determine his place in the universe. Being young means romance, love, new
discoveries and so on. Also it is the most difficult time from life because you have to make some very
important decisions, which will influence all your future life.

Young people have a lots of problems which don’t differ much from those that once their
parents had to deal with. Every generation differs one from the another, through experience of life,
ideals and a system of values.

So, in a such way very often appear conflicts between generations. Many of young people
have conflicts with their parents. Young people became more revolutionary and they often critize their
parent´s conservative lifestyle. They state that they don’t have enough freedom, that parents mustn’t
inquire too much into their bussiness. They don’t like when their parents criticize their friends, clothes
or hairstyle.
 On the other hand, parents and generaly older generation think that teenagers are
impolite, irresponsible. They don’t study enough and have bad marks. Then they complain that youth
generation don’t respect older generation and that they don’t think about their future. They are lazy,
and listen to a deafening music and wear an awful clothes.

And in a such way appear the generation gap. I think that generation gap can ever be
bridged. Sometimes older generations can share their experience to the young, and also the young
should not be too impatient when older people teach them what to do, what to wear or how to think.
Both sides should be patient and tactful and it's the only way to settle down all the problems and stay
friends. Tolerance is the only way to bridge the gap of the generations.

So, as you see, it is very difficult to be young nowadays, as, need, it always was. But you only
can be young once, and some wonderful things can happen only when you're young. So, enjoy youth
while it lasts.

Essay 7 To choose a profession is not easy

Here comes a very hard period of our lifetime. In a half of a year we will finish the high school
after what we should choose a university to continue our studies, and that moment would become the
most important in our life, in that moment will take the most important decision in our life – we will
choose a profession.

This decision will follow us the rest of our life, that’s why we should think about it very deeply
and carefully and to take a decision that is more closer to our lives, to our hearts and our ideas.
 To choose a profession is like to take one apple from a bunch of apples, from which we choose
the one we like the most and consider that it is the tasty.

A very important role on this decision have our parents, relatives, friends and not in the last time
our teachers. We must listen all of them and at the final to take our own decision. We should consider
all the pluses and the minuses of each profession that comes in our mind, and finally to choose that one
that in our opinion has less minuses, or don’t have them at all.

From statistics we know a few oppinions by what the professions are choosed: the position it
brings for the person in society, the salary we can obtain from it, our attitude on it, the number of
people the work process includes and different others. It is very important to understand which of this
we need the most, which of them are closer to our soul, or for the aims in our life…

The question is of course interesting but all the same is a difficult one.

From the early childhood our parents try to teach us how to differ good from bad, and to
avoid doing wrongs.

Everybody know that teenagers often answer back to their parents or teachers and that
deeply offends the adults.

The most difficult time for the pupils are from 13 to 15, the ages when they think that they
are already grown ups and don’t need to be taught how to behave. But in reality they act impulsively
without thinking of the results.
 Taking into consideration the agressivity of the teenagers, their tendency to unite in groups
and do wrongs, is necessary for adults to be kind of them, speak to them as to equals, try to convince
them not to do wrongs.

A good helper is that is to keep the teenagers busy, going in for sports, find a part day job
for the summer and others activities.

Anyway the problem is not easy, but it can be solved by mutual understanding.

Essay 10 Christmas – an old tradition that should be kept or a big business for the
industry?

From centuries, Christmas is considered by Christianity, the most important holiday of the
year. It was and it is a holiday when all the people by different faith celebrate the God’s Birthday.

In Moldova, Christians have different customs for this holiday. Usually people in villages cut
the pigs, make different dishes from it, also the housewives make different bakeries, and with this they
make the holiday excellent. Also we have a special cookie, which is called dove, and it’s very delicious.

And in a such way every country has it’s specific customs, has it’s personal style to celebrate
this holiday.

Christmas is a perfect holiday, and it’s a perfect time to meet with all the family at round
table. And then we celebrate our God- Jesus Christ.

But there is a problem now in our times, everything has changed, people forgot that this
holiday means, and what we must do, when it comes.
 Nowadays people try only to benefit from this. It seems that somewhere along the way, the
holiday message has been lost, and replaced by the materialistic attitudes. Christmas has now become a
massive marketing event where companies can advertise their products as a must have Christmas gift.
And of course that children will demand it from their parents.

People also have changed. They think that if they will buy more and more, it will be the best
Christmas Day. But it’s not the perfect idea. Christmas means trust in God, not in all this things which
they buy.

It will be good to see the old traditions return and Christmas to be celebrated for the right
reasons, not as a commercial opportunity. Making these occasions more prominent, it would be a good
way to enhance people’s Christmas spirit and for them to realize the importance of the holidays.

But the name of an “european” is just a signature on peoples personality and ideas,
because they remain the same, they have the same values, they respect the same rules. Beside
European Union is more than fifty years old, it is a to less period of time for changing, cause
each nation has its own culture, its own principles and ideas of life for centuries.

Theorettically all of this nations became a group, they became a family, they have even
the same history now, but like in a big family each person has its own characteristics, exactly the
the same fact is here.

The most important thing is that people now have more rights, more space for living,
more possibilities to express themselves, on state level we can notice the fact that intercultural
exchange became easier. Now, it is one stable big economy, that would help any of its members
in case of need. In this field we can mention that the change of national bills and coins, that
represent the history and the values of a nation, to the new unique european coin – euro, made a
very deep hole in nations culture, but in the same time it made their economy stronger.

So, like every changing in this world, European Union became an important factor in
developing and establishing of world history…

Usually nowadays we heard from different sides that Success changes she or he. Many of
people are surprising when they heard it, but it’s true. Success often changes people, but of course not
all . There are such people which aren’t influenced by it, it depends of the people’s type. It is a quotation
which proves that idea, it’s said that ″ Money and success don't change people; they merely amplify
what is already there″ Will Smith. It is the truth, even if it’s painful.

Generally "success" means the achievement of one's aim or goal. It is often used or
conquest on the desired. When one attains a goal or success, it gives happiness or fulfillment, a
satisfaction or contentment. Success is a joy of completion. People who achieve their goals are
frequently termed "successes" as well.

How said Albert Schweitzer ″Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to
success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.″ This Happiness is very big, and often it is
very seducting. It can change you in a such way, that after that you can’t believe that it was you, and you
was doing such things.

Usually success changes people in a bad way, they think that they are superior on the
others, and make different unpleasant things. But they mustn’t be so cruel with others, because nobody
know what can happen tomorrow. Tomorrow can be a different situation, another person can be more
successful than you, and can treat you like a slave.
 So, we mustn’t change in depending of success, because God see everything, and He will
make The Big Judge on us. Be yourself, and you’ll have only to win in life, and you’ll be Successful…

like we are responsible for our home.

Chisinau I always go to the Art Museum where they always have new unique collections of pictures and
