Conversation 1:

Mrs. Sato: Good evening.


Resturant: Good evening. Siam Palace Restaurant.

Mrs. Sato. I would like to   book a table. My husband Takeru and I are celebrating our anniversary.

Restaurant: Congratulations. What time do you want to make the reservation?

Mrs. Sato: Please, at 8:00 p.m.... Ahhh, I almos forgot. We are vegetarian. Do you have a   vegetarian option for our meal, right?

Restaurant: Yes, oᬀ course.... Then we will be waiting for you at 8:00 pm.
Mrs. Sato: Thanks.
 
Conversation 2:

Waiter: Excuse me, Sir. Are you ready to order?

Fred: No, I haven't had the chance to take a look at the  menu . Do you have anything special for today?

Waiter: Well, the  chef recommends the salmon rolls. He is a very good cook.

Fred: I'll follow the Chef's suggestion. Please, give me one of those.

Waiter: Would you like to have a  starter while you wait for your  main course ? 

Fred: Yes, please bring me some bread with butter.


Waiter: Ok, Sir.
 
Conversation 3:

Kathy: Excuse me!  Waitress .

Kathy: I ordered the  vegan option because I don't eat meat or milk. You brought me steak...

Waitress: I'm sorry... I thought you asked for a steak. I'll change it right now.

Kathy: What a bad service. You won't get a  tip this time and I want to talk to your supervisor.

 
Conversation 4:

Karen: Hey, next week is Christian's birthday. What are we going to do?

Diane: Why don't we have a  party at his favourite restaurant.

Julio: What a great idea... I can call and  book a big table for us.

Diane: But, we need to make a guest list. He has a lot of friends.


Karen: Yes, and most of them are jewish, so we need to go and be sure that there will be  kosher food.
