ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHER DURING THE SESSION

1. To ensure registration of students done both in the morning and afternoon session.
2. To ensure that classroom is well kept and prepared for learning.
3. To ensure students are properly attired for school.
4. Identifying and meeting individual learner needs.
5. Being reflective, which means learning from mistakes and successes.
6. To plan learning activities based on the needs of the group and individual needs within the
group.
7. To be prepared and organized at all times.
8. To promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
9. To ensure that communication among students is clear.
10. To motivates learners to develop their ability and aspiration to learn.
11. To keep accurate records of individual learner progress and future needs.
12. To impart positive discipline among learners.
13. To ensure activities or exercises given to learners are assessed and evaluated.
14. To guide or supervise learners throughout instructional sessions.
15. To keep accurate records that will contribute to the school’s quality improvement strategy.
