Character traits describe how a character in a story looks or acts. Identifying character traits helps you understand
why characters in a story do what they do.
1. Write the name of the book and the author. Then fill in the character’s name.
2. Fill in three different traits about the character.
3. Fill in evidence from the story to support the character traits you’ve identified.
