    Construction is an economic activity that crosses over three economic sectors:


    primary sector that involves the extraction of natural resources; secondary sector
    that involves the manufacture of building materials and components, and the
    transformation of these materials into finished buildings; and tertiary sector that
    involves the provision of consultancy services such as project management, design
    and structural engineering. From this angle of approach, the construction process
    actually starts long before the physical work on site that transforms materials and
    design into the complete buildings, structures and facilities.

    Target audience: the larger segments (primarily private, public, industrial and
    commercial) or smaller segments, such as private housing, public education
    facilities or commercial office buildings.
