1 Excursion program in Laos:
Day 1:
Our transfer will pick you up from the hotel and we will go to the interesting
travel. Firstly, we’ll have one day trip of Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang is the
ancient capital of Laos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the country’s cultural and
religious center. Early in the morning, we will go to observe the centuries-old
tradition of Laos – procession of monks through the streets of Luang Prabang –
Tak Bat. You can take a part in this rite and feed the monks. Than we’ll visit the
mountain Phou SI (Пу Си), there you can admire the magnificent panoramic view
of Luang Prabang and take beautiful photos. On the top of this mountain are
located seven gold statues of Buddha.
Further, we will go to the pearl of the former royal capital, the ancient Buddhist
temple of 1560, Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs built low to the base of the earth,
which represent classical Lao architecture. Also, you will see the cave and temple
complex Pak U. After caves, we’ll go to the elephant nursery, where we’ll have the
opportunity not only to take a walk on the elephants in the jungle, but also to swim
with elephants in the Mekong.
Day 2:
In the morning we’ll travel to fabulous waterfalls (Тад Сэ). Also, we’ll visit
Phonsavan. Phonsavan is the popular tourist site. Among tourists, Phonsavan is
primarily known for its location in the center of the mysterious Valley of Pitchers –
a place often called the Asian version of Stonehenge.
Day 3:
Early in the morning we’ll go to the mysterious Valley of Pitchers – a valley of
huge stone vessels, over 2000 years old. In addition, we can see That Foun stupa
(Тат Фоун), built in 1576, and a huge sitting Buddha on the ruins of the temple
Wat Piawat.
Day 4:
Also early in the morning we will go to the small town of Vang Vieng. Tourists are
attracted here by the atmosphere of general regularity, the “openness” of
landscapes, huge opportunities for various kinds of active pastime: tubing,
trekking, kayaking, exploring caves.Upon arrival in the city we will go to the Blue
Lagoon – this is a relaxation area, a favorite among tourists. Here the underground
river flows to the surface. The water here is clear, turquoise, and the depth reaches
eight meters.
Day 5:
On the next day we will go to capital of Laos, Vientiane. Here we will visit the
most significant places of the capital.

And 2 days you will have for relax and shopping. During a winter holiday in Laos,
tourists visit colorful markets. In souvenir shops they sell exotic goods – alcohol
tinctures with snakes and scorpions, silverware and textiles.

Popular Laos national dishes:

1) Tam mak houng – green papaya salad with garlic, hot pepper, fish sauce,
lime lime juice, cane sugar, tomatoes, nuts, often served with rice.
2) Laap, Larb is minced meat or fish
3) Som-mo - sauerkraut.
4) Hire nuang - a salad of meat, vegetables and herbs, rice flour pancakes are
served to it, in which it is proposed to wrap the salad mixture.
5) Lam - spicy soup with meat, vegetables, herbs, herbs.

1) Buddha Park is a type of sculpture park. It contains the most diverse and
sometimes very atypical statues of Buddha. This is a real center of Laos

2) That Luang. That Luang is stupa, which is a type of Buddhist structures. The
structure consist of three level and resembles a golden pyramid.
3) Triumphal Arch of Patusai. This memorial is dedicated to people who
fought for the independence of Laos from France. The design of this
attraction is similar to the design of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, but many
mythological figures and complex patterns give the arch an oriental style.
4) In Vientiane you can visit Phakeo Buddhist Temple founded in 1565-1566.
In the building is located a copy of the statue of the Emerald Buddha, and
small bronze sculptures of this deity adorn the temple outside.
