Club Constitution JR
Section 1 The name of this club shall be JR. National Association for the Deaf JR. NAD
Section 2 Purpose: The purpose of this club is for Deaf and Hard of Hearing awareness and for Deaf youth
empowerment through leadership and life skills. Social events for educational development and social competency in
hearing society at a day school. Mission statement includes:
Article II
Section 1 The club is subsidiary to the Associated Student Body of Madison High School and such has only powers as
granted to them by charters specific resolutions approved by the ASB.
Section 2 Jr. NAD associated with Madison High School recruits members that are current Madison high school
students of all grades and does not discriminative towards race, religion or sexual orientation or identity. Members shall
have access to an interpreter so that language is accessible. This is the JR. NAD High School Chapter 9-12th grade.
Section 3 Membership eligibility in this club shall be for students who possess a good academic and social attitude
towards Deaf awareness and social ethics. Members are required to have ASL skills and knowledge.

Club Treasurer will work with Advisor and staff to receive all funds and immediately turn then in to the financial office
for accurate receipts and disbursements in keeping with policy for handling school organizations.
Article IV
All meetings shall be open meetings and shall be held under the supervision of the club advisor.
Article V
This constitution may be amended by 2/3 votes for the club, provided that the proposed amendment is within the
powers granted in the constitution of the Associated Body of Madison High School.
