Vacations on Leon City.
About 8 years ago, i went to Leon city, in Nicaragua with my family, we wanted to
celebrate the end of the year with my uncles and cousins that live there, one week
before the trip, we called to an hotel to make a reservation of 1 bedroom for 4
people, so the day we traveled, when we gotten there, we went to the hotel first
and leave all our stuff, and then we proceed to make journey trought the city, we
went to the catedral and visit the catacumbs, with a Little tourist tour, the guide
man was explaining to us the history behind the famous catedral, then we visited
the central park and eat some type of ice cream called “raspados”, in english we
can say “Scrapped Off”, after the central park we made our way to my uncles
house, and they received us with a great meal, i was playing with my cousins while
my parents where talking with my uncles, the night fell, so we moved to the center
of the city and saw all the night comerce from león city, we saw a lot of foreign
people in the pubs and the people dancing, after that we went to the hotel
restaurant to dinner and them go to sleep. The next day we visited poneloya’s
beach in the morning, till almost half day, it was a funny experience in the beach,
we went to the fish market and saw the variety of fishes that fishermen catches in
their journeys, at half day we went to a restaurant, and them head back to Leon
city, and take a walk in the streets in the afternoon, we visited again my uncles and
help them preparing the dinner, that was the last of the year, so we also prepared
fireworks and the party for the night, and then we celebrated together, till 1 or 2
am, now in the new year, we went to the hotel to sleep, that day in the morning we
hang out a bit more in the city and in the afternoon we take our way back to our
home in Managua.
