1)Summary of the video

The video tituled “¿Cuál es el problema con Uber?”, of Magic Makers is about how the
Uber and the Taxi even though they provide the same service that is to collect and take
people to a destination, they are not regulated in the same way, and these represent a
struggle at a disadvantage, because to provide the taxi service you must first pay a fee to
allow the business and this is too expensive, in addition to the cost of the car. While in Uber
you only need to buy the car, register in uber and go through the exams that company does.
In addition, the taxi driver must pay a daily amount of money to the owner of the taxi,
which very rarely is the same driver, in addition to getting out of there for gasoline,
eventual punctures, possible accidents, car wash and what will be his salary. While Uber,
for its job of intermediation, for each trip, the company keeps 20% and the driver keeps the
rest. Finally in the video, it is affirmed that working as a taxi driver is unjust regardless of
whether there is uber or not, due to the regulations and the high costs to which they are
subject. Uber is showing the world that there are technological solutions that can be more
effective than the regulations that have been used so far, both for the control and quality of
the service, as well as for the safety and protection of passengers and drivers.
2) Pros and Cons
Pros:
In Uber you can complain and to the third bad qualification the driver is punished, which
does not happen with a taxi.
In Uber before the trip you can know how much is your approximate cost, while in the taxi
many times they charge more.
In Uber you have more easily the driver's information and in many occasions your attention
is better than that of the taxi.
In the taxi, at the time of a possible accident, you are under insurance for public service,
while if the accident occurs in Uber only soat will cover it because the service is considered
illegal and they are not required to pay other insurance
