3. Course Description: This course aims to study the aspects of a
project feasibility study, market and
product considerations, design or
selection and specification of processes,
equipment and materials, economic
plant size, plant location and layout,
manpower requirements, determination,
capital requirement determination,
capital structure and financing and
student projects.

4. Pre-requisite: ME 528a (Industrial Plant Processes), ME


538a/L (Field Trip & Seminars)

1. Only officially enrolled
Total 100% students are allowed to
attend their classes.
2. All students are required to attend their classes regularly.
3. Attendance is counted from the first regular class meeting.
4. Punctuality is a must to all students.
5. A validated student identification card must always by worn be all students while attending classes.
6. Any form of dishonesty shall be dealt with accordingly.
7. Cheating is strictly prohibited.
8. Students who incur absences equivalent to more than 20% of the course hours required shall be
dropped from the course provided he/she has not taken any exam.
9. Valid examination permits are necessary in taking the examinations as scheduled.
10. No special quiz shall be given to any student who comes in late or absent during classes.
11. Honesty is called at all times.
