FINAL PROGRAM
5” LINER CEMENTING OPERATION
Date: 20 February 2018

- CENTRALIZERS MUST BE RUN AS PER CENTRALIZERS TALLY

- All CMT SLURRIES VOLUMES ARE BASED ON CALIPER PLUS 10%
EXCESS.

1. Hold safety meeting with all involved personnel to discuss mud conditioning, and
finalized job procedure;
2. Condition hole by breaking circulation, then increase rate in increment to reach 7-8 BPM.
3. Ideally mud properties should be the same coming out as they are going back in the hole.
The following mud parameters are recommended:
· Plastic Viscosity below 20 cp;
· Yield Point below 10 lb/100ft2
· API Mud Fluid Loss below 10 cc/30min
· Gel Strength 10 sec/10 min of 2/3 ratio and not 2/5
4. Continue circulation and reciprocate the casing in 10-15 ft strokes every 3-5 minutes
recording the weight. The reciprocating should be continuing throughout the cement job;
5. Circulate the casing with mud until returns to surface are clean and until mud properties
are obtained;
6. Arrange with Liner Hanger/Head Supplier company representative for full proper
coordination on liner special required procedures.
7. Prepare flushes and spacers in accordance with the program;
8. Inform all involved personnel that high pressure test is in preparation;
9. Flush cement line from cement unit to the rig floor with 2 BBL of water, close valve on rig
floor and pressure test lines to 3,000 psi for 10 min;
10. Switch to cement line as quickly as possible and start pumping spacers and flushes in the
following order:
· 20 bbls of Weighted Spacer 12PPG as per Lab design
· 3 bbl of fresh water buffer.

Recommended volumes are to achieve 1,000 ft annular height. A contact time of 10 minutes
is advocated. Monitor for loses during this stage;
11. Collect samples of spacers, dry cement and mix water with additives.
12. Mix and pump 43.7 bbls (included 10% excess on Caliper) of 15.8PPG Slurry with
additives as per lab test. Continue reciprocating casing during mixing and pumping of
cement. At all times monitor returns and report results of any fluid level drop in annulus
after the job;

13. During mixing of cement, collect three samples of cement slurries and keep undisturbed.
Confirm volume of water used;
14. Drop DP DART on completion of the slurry.
15. Start displacement (Displacement Volume should be calculated on site based on actual
casing tally) at 5-6 BPM TOTAL VOLUME 111.5bbls, slow down to latch Liner Wiper Plug
after 85 bbls at 2 BPM and record PRESSURE INCREASE, resume displacing at 5-6 BPM
and slow down before bumping plug.
DISPLACEMENT VOLUME SHOULD BE CALCULATED AS PER ACTUAL CASING TALLY

16. Pressure up to 1,000 psi over differential pressure when plug lands and hold for casing
pressure test. Bleed back and monitor returns. If plug did not land after calculated
displacement volume, DO NOT over displace more than 50% of the shoe track volume;
