Topic: Narrative Skills

Instructions:
1. Study the 3 worksheets given.
2. What do you think of them as worksheets for narrative writing?
= i think worksheet 1 and 3 are a form of narrative writing however for worksheet 2 I am
quite confused
3. Suggest the appropriate age for each worksheet. Why do you say so?
= For Worksheet,1 5-7 Year old because it is a simple task asking what do you like
something and why do you like it. Plus there are pictures so this worksheet is easy for 5-7
year old kids. Furthermore, 5-7 year old kids must often go to the playground. They must
know what those pictures are.
= For Worksheet 2, 10-12 year old because the questions are a little bit complicated, it is
more to describe a character and i think it is suitable for 8-12 year old kids.
= For Worksheet 3, 8-9 year old because it is a cause and effect type of task where one
needs to state the reason why they think about something. i think 8-9 year old kids can do
that.
3. How do you utilize them in your narrative lesson?
= before giving them the worksheets, i will ask them what they like the most at the
playground (Worksheet 1). I will ask them to describe themselves (Worksheet 2). i will ask
them what animals they like the most and why (worksheet 3).
