∙ The effects of hormonal methods for post-coital

contraception are reduced by enzyme inducing drugs - and dose
should be increased by 50%.
∙ For the levonorgestrel-only method, the first dose should be
1.5mg followed by a second dose of 750mcg. Antibiotics that are
not enzyme inducers do not affect efficacy
∙ Phenytoin is an enzyme inducer
