The external opportunities and threats, and internal strength and weaknesses were identified in the 2 previous activity taken in this course. This time a SWOT matrix will be conducted in the company JFC to formulate new possible strategies for the company to execute as response to the result of the industry and SWOT analysis. Jollibee Foods Corporation is one of the largest and fastest growing fast food and restaurant company in the world. From a franchised Magnolia ice cream parlor to one of the largest group of companies today. According to JFC’s Chairman, Tony Tan Caktiong, they have a total of 15 brands in year 2019 after acquiring the California-based coffee chain Coffee Bean and Tea leaf ®. As JFC is customer-based and ever improving in many aspects of their business, JFC must also introduce healthier products in their menu line-up or improved their current products into healthier ones as a response to the growing health awareness of individuals. To continue to reach their growing demands for raw products as their business expands, JFC through their economy support program – Farmer Entrepreneurship Program must encourage the beneficiaries to grow more organic products aside from vegetables and rice, may include chickens and coffee beans. Lastly, JFC with their company leaders declared themselves as adaptive to crisis, must remain optimistic and stay adaptive to survive the current pandemic.
