Anticipatory set ( 10 mns ) Direct instruction : 10 mns

Aim : To interpret a video Aim : To list some ancient civilizations

I will start the lesson by playing
a video .
Pps are required to watch it , pick
out key words .
To identify the key words
illustrating the topic of the video .
I will ask pps to list some civilizations they
know .
Then , I will draw a spider map on the board

Once the video is over , I will Pps then are invited to fill in the spidermap
open a class discussion about the with words that illustrate the topic
content of the video through some analyzed in the video
questions .

Guided Practice ( 20 mns)

Aim :To match given words with their definitions .

and complete a table .

I will pass on handouts to pps and ask them to do the tasks
