I'm super excited to share with you my latest ami design, the Unicorn Pixie!! She is an adorable, little pocket sized doll that is
quick and easy to crochet. This magical fantasy creature has a unicorn horn and ears, ower crown, highlights in her hair, and
a lacy frill skirt.

The Unicorn Pixie pattern is very versatile and can easily be customized by using di erent yarn colors to change up the pastel
cotton candy theme, making di erent hairstyles, or adding embellishments such as beads, buttons, and appliques. This
beautiful doll is a great gift for kids who love to play with small toys. She also makes for a great birthday, Christmas, or
holiday present!

Introduction:
The Unicorn Pixie is an adorable, little pocket sized doll that is quick and easy to crochet. This magical fantasy creature has
a unicorn horn and ears, ower crown, highlights in her hair, and a lacy frill skirt. This amigurumi design is very versatile and
can easily be customized by using di erent yarn colors to change up the pastel cotton candy theme, making di erent
hairstyles, or adding embellishments such as beads, buttons, and appliques. This beautiful doll is a great gift for kids who love
to play with small toys. She also makes for a great birthday, Christmas, or holiday present!

Size:
Height: 7 inches (18 centimeters)
Level:

Requires familiarity with stitches used (below), attaching plastic safety eyes,
changing yarn colors, and sewing parts together.
Ch: chain
Inc: increase
Dec: decrease
Materials:
Medium weight 4 yarn in desired colors (I used peach, white, o -white, pink,
purple, grey)
Fiber ll stu ng
Yarn needle
Scissors
~ CROCHET INSTRUCTIONS ~
Important Notes (Read before beginning!)
Use your preferred yarn colors for each part. (My selection is written in parenthesis.)

Head
Use skin-colored yarn (peach).
R1: In MR, sc 6. (6 sts)
R2: Inc around. (12 sts)
R3: (Sc, inc) x 6. (18 sts)
R4: (Sc 2, inc) x 6. (24 sts)
R5: (Sc 3, inc) x 6. (30 sts)
R6-R12: Sc around. (30 sts)
R13: (Sc 3, dec) x 6. (24 sts)
Insert 7mm plastic safety eyes between R10-R11, 6 sts apart.
R14: (Sc 2, dec) x 6. (18 sts)
R15: (Sc, dec) x 6. (12 sts)
FO and weave in the ends.
Hair Cap
Use main hair-colored yarn (grey).
Repeat R1-R10 instructions from the ‘Head’ section.
FO with a long tail for sewing later. Attach hair to the doll's hair cap. A step-by-step tutorial with photos is available in the PDF
pattern le.
Flowers (x3)
Use pink/purple/o -white yarn.
In MR, (ch 4, sl st) x 5. Pull the ring tight.
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
Ears (x2)
Use white yarn.
R1: In MR, sc 4. (4 sts)
R2: (Sc, inc) x 2. (6 sts)
R3: (Sc 2, inc) x 2. (8 sts)
R4: (Sc 3, inc) x 2. (10 sts)
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
Horn
Use yellow yarn.
R1: In MR, sc 4. (4 sts)
R2: Inc, sc 3. (5 sts)
R3: Inc, sc 4. (6 sts)
R4: Inc, sc 5. (7 sts)
R5: Inc, sc 6. (8 sts)
R6: Inc, sc 7. (9 sts)
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
Dress Collar
Use collar-colored yarn (pink).
Ch 16. Start your rst st in 2nd ch from hook. (Inc, sl st 2) around.
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
Body
Use dress-colored yarn (white).
R1: In MR, sc 6. (6 sts)
R2: Inc around. (12 sts)
R3: (Sc, inc) x 6. (18 sts)
R4-R8: Sc around. (18 sts)
R9: In BLO, (sc 4, dec) x 3. (15 sts)
R10: Sc around. (15 sts)
R11: (Sc 3, dec) x 3. (12 sts)
R12: Sc around. (12 sts)
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
Dress Skirt
Note: You may sew the arms and legs onto the body before starting the dress skirt. Alternatively, you can also choose to do so after
the dress skirt is complete.
Start with skirt-colored yarn (purple). Attach yarn to back loops created in R9 of Body.
R1: Ch 2, (hdc 5, inc) x 3. *Join with a sl st to the rst hdc. (21 sts)
R2: Ch 2, (hdc 6, inc) x 3. *Join. (24 sts)
R3: Ch 2, (hdc 5, inc) x 4. *Join. (28 sts)
R4: Ch 2, (hdc 6, inc) x 4. *Join. (32 sts)
Switch to frill-colored yarn (pink).
R5: Ch 1, (inc, sl st) around. *Join.
FO and weave in the ends.
Arms (x2)
Note: Arms and legs are made using the “i-cord” crochet technique. Click here for the i-cord tutorial, or scroll down to see videos for
this pattern below.
Use skin-colored yarn (peach).
Set up the i-cord: Ch 3. Insert hook into 2nd ch from hook, YO, pull up a loop, insert hook into next ch, YO, and pull up a loop.
(3 loops on hook)
R1: Drop 2 loops from hook, but hold onto them tightly with your non-hook hand so that they do not come undone. YO, pull
through loop on hook. Insert hook into rst dropped loop, YO, pull through. (2 loops on hook.) Insert hook into second
dropped loop, YO, and pull through. (3 loops on hook)
R2-R8: Repeat R1.
To nish, YO and pull through all 3 loops on hook.
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
Legs (x2)
Start with shoe-colored yarn (purple).
Set up the i-cord the same way as you did for the Arms (above).
R1: Repeat R1 instructions from the ‘Arms’ section.
Switch to skin-colored yarn (peach).
R2-R12: Repeat R1 instructions from the ‘Arms’ section.
FO with a long tail for sewing later.
~ FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS ~
1. Use plastic safety pins to help position the owers, ears, and horn onto the top of the doll’s head. Once satis ed with
their placement, sew them securely using each piece’s long yarn tail and a yarn needle.

2. If you haven’t already, sew the arms and legs to the doll’s body. Then, make sure the body and head are stu ed well
and sew them together.
5. Lastly, add blush to cheeks using blush powder & q-tip. Click here for a blush tutorial, or scroll down to watch the video
