Mobile Photography Guidelines and Criteria

Guidelines:

1. The contest is open for all College students of Southern Christian College.

2. Each participants must fill out an “Entry form” provided by an organizer just click this
link: https://forms.gle/hnEJBWDiNnETyhJ39

3. The submission of entries will be sent to csg@southernchriatiancollege.edu.ph in digital

form (JPEG). Include your name and course/year.

4. The committee of the contest shall not be held liable for lost or delayed entries.

5. The participants are allowed to use any brand and model of mobile phones. It should be
not more than 64 megapixels.

6. The use of DSLR and Point-and-shoot camera is not allowed.

7. Photo enhancement can be done using only the default phone camera. However, third
party apps such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom or any editing apps are not
allowed.

8. The photo taken must have the consent from the concerned parties especially if the image
taken contains any material or element not owned by the participant, or if any person
appears in the photo as the subject.

9. The photo taken must be coherent to the theme:

9.1 Daily Activities and Lifestyle

9.2 Architectural (SCC)
9.3 Portrait (Black and White)

Criteria:

1.Relevance to the Theme (How well the photo interprets the theme) 25%

2.Creativity (How the Photographer showed some creative thoughts. How the subject matter is
pictured in a unique and interesting way) 25%

3.Technique (Use of elements of photography. Whether the photo showed balance in light,focus,
depth of field) 25%

4.Overall Impact (Whether the photo was able to grab and hold the viewers attention . Is there a
"wow" factor) 25%.
