 OBJECTIVE
This contest aims to encourage students to
capture the beauty of nature and highlight the
importance of preserving it. Through this
contest, students will have the opportunity to
showcase their photography skills and
creativity while promoting environmental
awareness. By emphasizing the idea that
people depend on nature for their survival and
well-being, the contest encourages students to
appreciate the natural world and take action to
protect it for future generations.
Criteria and Percentage:
Appropriateness to the Theme – 50%
Photo aligns with the theme of the contest and effectively expresses
its intended message within the context of the theme.

Uniqueness of Concept – 30%

Distinctiveness of the concept and idea presented in the photo, including
thecomposition, subject matter, and perspective.

Originality
Assessing how unique –
and10%
new the photo is, including the originality and creativity of the idea,
subject matter, and execution, as well as the use of any unconventional or innovative techniques.

Clarity of Expression – 10%

Assessing how unique and new the photo is, including the originality and
creativity of the idea, subject matter, and execution, as well as the use of any
unconventional or innovative techniques.
 Mechanics:
Each contestant must submit only one (1) photo entry.

Photos can be taken using any smartphones and camera. The smartphone or
camera must activate the timestamp to appear in the photo. Coaches shall assist
his/her participant in the activation of the timestamp prior to the contest proper.

Entry must not contain any product logo/watermarks or any text in

the image and must be the contestant’s original work.

Entry will be disqualified if digitally or otherwise enhanced or altered

for creative purposes. Altered images refer to photographs
manipulated and applied with special effects (colorizing, toning,
collage, photo composites, HDR, etc.).
 Mechanics:
Minor adjustments, including sharpening, contrast and slight
color adjust mentor the digital equivalents, are not acceptable.

Photos which are highly immoral, relatively obscene and/or in violation of public
moral and/or public policy are highly discouraged.

Photo must not contain any copyrighted material including artworks

and other photos.
