CONDUCT OF 2023 YES O ECO – FESTIVAL

To: ALL TEACHERS of PMRMS-NORTH

1. This Office, through the School Governance & Operations Division Youth Formation Section,
announces the conduct of the 2023 Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES O) Eco-
Festival with the theme “Nature Doesn't Need People but People Need Nature” on March 27-31, for
school level. The venue will be announced later.

2. All Science teachers are advised to conduct school-level YES O-related activities from March 13
— April 1, 2023. We must observe the No Disruption of Classes Policy stipulated in DepEd Order
(DO) No. 9, s. 2005 titled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring
Compliance Therewith, and the policy on off-campus activities stated in DO 66, s. 2017.

3. To be qualified for the Division level YES O contests, schools must submit their accomplishment
report on or before April 5, 2023 via email.

4. Attached are the program, criteria, and contest mechanics for each contest. Schools may adopt or
modify the given criteria and mechanics based on their preference.

5. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
