A diverse ensemble of participants, including the diligent Student Environmental Leaders
Group (SELG) members, the enthusiastic Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-
O) officers, the vigilant ALERT officers, the dedicated Alternative Learning System (ALS)

learners, esteemed Barangay Officials, and the committed faculty members, converged against the
backdrop of nature's splendor, fostering unity and environmental awareness.
The program began with the National Anthem, led by Ma'am Carlota G. Gonzales, and a
heartfelt invocation by Ma'am Wendelyn B. Castro. School Principal Ma'am Dolores O. Gatuz
represented by our School Officer-in-Charge, Ma’am Maria Teresita DV. Gargaritano, warmly
welcomed all, emphasizing the lasting impact of tree-planting on the environment and education.
She also highlighted education's role in fostering environmental stewardship.

Area H, San Rafael III, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan
stressing the symbiotic relationship between leadership and environmental care. Barangay
Chairman Hon. Ferdinand D. Mendoza represented by Hon. Marcial Sebastian, Committee on
Education, underscored community engagement for sustainability.
Ma'am Luisa S. Rivera, Master Teacher II, led the awarding of Certificates of Recognition,
acknowledging outstanding contributions. The program's success was sealed with gratitude

expression led by Faculty President Ma'am Evelyn R. Obaob, thanking all for their dedication,
emphasizing the collective commitment to environmental sustainability.
As the event concluded, let us reflect on the words of the poet Joyce Kilmer, "I think that I
shall never see a poem lovely as a tree." Just as trees grow with care and nurture, so do our
children, our community, and our future. May the seeds we planted today flourish into a legacy of
environmental stewardship and a brighter tomorrow for Tibagan Elementary School.

Lessons Learned/ After this activity involvement with nature, children developed a passion and
Recommendation knowledge for the planet, which can lead to increased environmental awareness and
