2nd Distribution and 1st Retrieval of printed SLMs/ LASs/

Compendium of Notes

To guide teachers, parents, and learners in the conduct of basic education as the
country shifts into the new normal, the school based their preparation on the varying local
situations. Since we do not have face to face classes yet, DepEd needs to continue to provide
learning opportunities to our students without requiring them to come to school.
Schools may choose from various distance learning modalities such as printed or
digital module and online learning resources. Sta. Rosa National High School adopted the
Printed- Modular Distance Learning and online as supplementary mode of teaching.
“Coming together is a beginning, staying together is a progress, and working together is
success.”-Henry Ford. This is the quote where teachers of Sta. Rosa National High School
used during the distribution and retrieval of students learning materials. Everyone joined
together hands-in-hands to achieve another success.
On September 27, 2021, SRNHS teachers arrived early in school to prepare the
learning materials for the 2 nd distribution. All the materials were placed in designated boxes.
The distribution and retrieval started at exactly 8.30. Before the distribution, the faculty
especially advisers announced the distribution through group chat messenger of their
respective advisory class. In so doing, the parents arrived at school at the exact time of
releasing of modules wherein during the process, health protocols and standards were tailed
such as: wearing of facemask and face shield, observing social distancing, temperature
checking, hand washing and sanitizing. Right after, they lined-up to the grade level where they
got their modules. They lined up while observing physical distancing while others were sitting
waited their turn to transact with the teachers for the modules and attendance. As soon as they
received the modules, the teachers instructed them the process involved in doing the modules
and weekly home learning plan and alike. The “go-home immediately” policy right after they
received the modules was also followed.

Handwashing is one of easiest, more cost efficient and effective way of combating the spread of germs
and staying healthy. We, teachers encourage parents to get into the practice of washing their hands as
they enter the school premises.
