Good day!

Lucena Dalahican National High School is a public secondary school in

Region 4A CALABARZON Division of Lucena City. It is located at Dalahican Rd., Brgy.
Dalahican, Lucena City. It is categorized by DepEd as ‘big school’ which caters to
2,700 junior and senior high school students. It has an extension school – Barra Annex
located at a neighboring barangay – Brgy. Barra. The teaching and non-teaching force
consist of 83 in the JHS, 15 in the SHS and 14 in Barra Extension. LDNHS has ongoing
programs on reading and inclusive education.

As part of the In-Service Training (INSET) for SY 2019 – 2020, LDNHS hopes
to conduct a Benchmarking Activity to enable teachers to have takeaways from a
leading university in the Philippines about teacher education to further strengthen and
intensify its school-initiated reading and inclusive education programs.

Anent to this, may we request that one day of the 5-day INSET be held at
College of Education – PLM for a Benchmarking Activity regarding reading and
inclusive education programs on October 25 (Friday) from 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM.
We are requesting for a mini-talk about reading and inclusive education programs and
a quick tour of the College. The participants of this activity are the 112 teaching staff
of LDNHS.
