Title of Activity: 3rd Homeroom PTA Meeting and Second Quarter Recognition Day
Date: February 13, 2024
Venue: Grade 9-Cicero Classroom
Objective: 1. To require the parents of our young learners to attend and
contribute their time and effort to the 3rd Homeroom Parents-
Teachers Association Meeting
2. To help contribute better school programs, projects and
activities.
3. To discuss plans and proposals for school improvements.
4. To build strong partnership with teachers and parents.
5. To distribute Report Cards for the Second Quarter.
6. To recognize Second Quarter Achievers.
Expected Number of Participants: 41

Actual Number of Participants: 25
Narrative
On February 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., the Grade 9-Cicero adviser had its Third Homeroom PTA
Meeting in the classroom. Out of the 41 parents, 25 parents showed up for the meeting. The advisers
provided parents with comprehensive information about the following agenda items:
a. Grading System and Recognition
b. Perfect Attendance Award
c. Academic Excellence Award
d. Students’ Safety inside the school premises
e. Absenteeism
f. Classroom Issues and Concerns
g. Catch Up Fridays
h, New Class Program
i. Socialization
The New Class Program was discussed during the meeting. The students will go to school before 7:
30 a. m. The class will start at 7:30 in the morning till 12:00 noon. They will come back before 1:00 p.m.
and will go home at 5:00 in the afternoon. During Catch Up Fridays, the focus will be on reading, values,
health, and peace education.

The Family Day which will be held on February 21 was also discussed. The parents were invited to
join in the said activity. Their socialization and final performance in MAPEH were also discussed.
Questions were raised and the teacher-adviser answered all those questions.
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 in the afternoon.
