II. RATIONALE

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the global educational system,
affecting the lives of the students. Considering how financially precarious people’s lives have
become because of pandemic, purchasing pen and paper is a difficult task. The best
companion of any students is a pen and paper. Pen is everything that a students need to write
what he knows in an exam. When used correctly, this can get someone far in life. It is the
most valuable asset that a literate person possesses. It is a device that allows students to
scribble their thoughts on a piece of paper. On the other hand, paper can be utilized in so
many ways, it is the perfect tool for schools. Students can use it to take notes on the teacher’s
lesson.

As a result, the project “Bolpen at Papel: Tulay sa Kinabukasan will be of great

assistance to the students. This project focuses on providing school supplies to selected
students at Sta. Cruz South High School as their major need. This project is vital in assisting
students in obtaining the higher-quality education they require.

Pen and Paper play an important role in the lives of every student, especially in
today’s pandemic. It acts as a weapon and a shield, allowing them to continue their education
despite the pandemic. The project “Bolpen at Papel: Tulay sa Kinabukasan: was created with
the help of Madam Evangeline S. Ofiaza, Mr. Rico M. Monsalud, and the support of several
generous donors.

This project aims to assist the start of the school year 2022-2023 by providing school
supplies to Sta. Cruz South High School students, who will be inspired to continue learning
and emphasized the meaning of education as a key to success.
